Another Trump thread for those who want to discuss what it all means

He is a very rich and now even more powerful unpredictable child. Like a toddler with money and nuclear weapons.
What could possibly go wrong?!
Hmm

Well, but at least the OxBridgeSpinEstablishment is quaking in its boots. Because the multi-billionaire with several bankruptcies under his belt (yet still unfeasibly rich while living those he once paid minimum wage to in his wake) is of course NOT part of the establishment. Natch.
Just like Farage isn't.

PacificDogwod · 22/11/2016 22:53

You are of course right, Kaija, I simply have lost the will with this one.

claig · 22/11/2016 22:55

Kaija, why don't you go on another thread and stop accusing anyone who supports Trump of being a fascist or a white supremacist. Millions of Americans voted for Trump, get over it, just as the media teams have to.

Two St Louis Trump supporting sisters give a shout out to DIamond and Silk, the legendary Stump for Trump Sisters

Claig - So where will Trump's hatred of the media end? Serious question, given his proclivity for just stamping on anyone who is 'mean' to him?

PacificDogwod · 22/11/2016 23:00

claig, I've said this before:
Shit tastes great. Gazillions of flies all over the world love shit. So, it must be true.

Millions of people voting for Trump makes him president elect (although more people voted for his opponent thank him, but that's another story), but still does NOT make him a Good Thing.

claig · 22/11/2016 23:03

'So where will Trump's hatred of the media end?'

They will lose their power to con the people. Trump is bypassing them and he says he will stop the large media mergers that concentrate too much power in too few billionaires' hands and that will mean that they won't be able to collude with the Democrats or fool the people any more.

Trump will bring about a more diverse media, not staffed by the usual teams.

claig · 22/11/2016 23:03

That is your opinion, but millions of voters disagree.

What exactly does 'bring about' mean?

Kaija · 22/11/2016 23:04

I am most certainly NOT suggesting that anyone who supported Trump is a fascist. As we all know, fascism arrives as your friend, and you cannot tar every person taken in by it with the same brush as those who perpetrate it.

Trump himself however is another matter. And your language and attitude on here that screams of the same propaganda. Perhaps you have no idea, and are just doing it for a laugh? Or perhaps you really are trying to persuade people that the views endorsed by the KKK and American Nazis are ones we should all be adopting. You're working pretty hard at it whichever it is.

PacificDogwod · 22/11/2016 23:06

'but still does NOT make him a Good Thing'

That is your opinion, but millions of voters disagree.

Ah, but more voters agree with me Grin

claig · 22/11/2016 23:07

'Or perhaps you really are trying to persuade people that the views endorsed by the KKK and American Nazis are ones we should all be adopting.'

Stop trying tp smear me. I am with the black Stump for Trump Sisters who think Trump is fantastic. You have a warped mind, fixated on seeing fascism and white supremacism whem millions of black and Latino voters voted for Trump. Are you a Blairite?

OP posts:
claig · 22/11/2016 23:11

Only a Blairite, or a member of a media team, could smear all of these people as supporting white supremacism

OP posts:
Kaija · 22/11/2016 23:11

The very fact that you have mentioned the "stump for trump sisters", what, 20, 30, 40 or more times on here, as if you are trying to make them represent black America, speaks volumes.

Kaija · 22/11/2016 23:14

"You have a warped mind, fixated on seeing fascism and white supremacism"

You would have to have a pretty warped mind to ignore it right now.

claig · 22/11/2016 23:20

'You would have to have a pretty warped mind to ignore it right now.'

Stop listening to Tony Blair, he is known as Bliar. Cheer up, it's a great world and it just got better because Trump got elected and is taking down the Establishments, mocking the lot of them and causing panic among the teams on the news channels. Their spin is finished, Jon Snow is desperate, their lies are over, Trump knows their game and openly mocks them. Join the people and laugh. We won, we beat the elites. They are talking about having to roll Blair out again. It's funny, that is all they have got left.

OP posts:
claig · 22/11/2016 23:23

'as if you are trying to make them represent black America, speaks volumes.'

No, they don't represent all of black America, nobody does, because everyone is different. I like them because they are very funny, and I would like them just the same if they were white, because I don't see colour, I see human beings, we are all the same, all Trump fans. But they are black and that shows Blairites that their spin tricks of accusing Trump of being racist is a lie just like the lies of the Oxbridge team and media teams. As Trump rightly said

"We’re in a room of liars, the deceitful dishonest media who got it all wrong.’ He addressed everyone in the room calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was [a] network of liars,”

He could have added Blairites to liars in my book, but he was spot on anyway.

OP posts:
squishysquirmy · 22/11/2016 23:28

there are about 3700 American far right Nazi types
There are a hell of a lot more than this. They just go by a different name.
I'll say one thing for Trump and his cronies - they are masters at re-branding.

Kaija · 22/11/2016 23:29

It shows nothing of the kind.

More from Spencer the "Hail Trump" nationalist:

Spencer has popularized the term “alt-right” to describe the movement he leads. Spencer has said his dream is “a new society, an ethno-state that would be a gathering point for all Europeans,” and has called for “peaceful ethnic cleansing.”

squishysquirmy · 22/11/2016 23:30

Claig, I will admit that not all Trump supporters are racist, or nazis.
Are you able to admit that not all critics of Trump are Blairites and elites?

claig · 22/11/2016 23:30

"Donald Trump's election victory hailed as 'defeat of the establishment elite part 2'

DONALD Trump’s sensational victory in the American Presidential election has been hailed as a "defeat of the establishment".

www.express.co.uk/news/world/730544/Donald-Trump-election-victory-US-election

It doesn't get better than that. This is historic. Nothing like it has ever occurred and by the time Trump is finished with them, they will be utterly defeated and so will their spin be defeated on the news channels. No one will believe them any more, everyone will see through their tricks and their lies and Bliar will be even more of a joke than he is now.

OP posts:

Trump will bring about a more diverse media, not staffed by the usual teams.

The idea of a President bringing about a change in the media is chilling to those of us who understand democracy and the role of the fourth estate - obviously not you Claig.

Stop listening to Tony Blair, he is known as Bliar.

Didn't you say in another thread that you voted for him Claig (not surprised he had a lot of populist cant)? I wonder what you'll be saying about Trump in a few years time ...

That is your opinion, but millions of voters disagree.

Yes. Mind you about a million and a half fewer than agreed with Clinton - but thems the breaks with the electoral college (I do accept him as our president). Still, I wouldn't be going into the territory of claiming a popular mandate - although then again, when did the truth stop anyone.

claig · 22/11/2016 23:34

pencer is a nobody, he has got no power and no votes. He is just someone that teh Oxbridge teams and media teams dredge up to try and hammer Trump, who has absolutely nothing to do with him.

'Are you able to admit that not all critics of Trump are Blairites and elites?'

Of course. Elites are tiny in number, and Blairites are too after the loss of respect for Bliar.

He's in good company then.

Donald Trump provokes backlash from supporters as he signals u-turns on Hillary Clinton and global warming

claig · 22/11/2016 23:37

'I wouldn't be going into the territory of claiming a popular mandate '

Yes, but because of the electoral college system, Trump concentrated on key states in the rust belt. If it was a majority vote system, then Trump would have spent more time in the most populous state, California. Trump won in the system as it is. He may also have won under a different system, we don't know.
