Well the most important posts haven't been filled but it's an awfully hawkish looking lot so far.

GlassCircles · 18/11/2016 17:06

Yep - on those occasions when you don't feel like actually whipping your own willy out and waving it around to prove what a tosser you are, a dead animal makes a good substitute.

Alfieisnoisy · 18/11/2016 17:33

Yeah Donny Junior is a real hero isn't he? Hmm

squishysquirmy · 18/11/2016 19:53

During the campaign, Trump mentioned starting a TV company if he lost. Now that he's won, would he be allowed to do this anyway?
It sort of seems like something there should be legislation against...

Spinflight · 18/11/2016 20:06

He's going to do it. The first reality TV President.

That it'll also give him an excuse not to talk to the rest of the media....

Kaija · 18/11/2016 20:25

Meanwhile the KKK are delighted. David Duke tweeted today:

"Bannon, Flynn, Sessions -- Great! Senate must demand that Sessions as AG stop the massive institutional race discrimination against whites!"

Massive institutional race discrimination against whites.

Kaija · 18/11/2016 21:04

And apparently Rupert Murdoch has just visited Trump Tower.

What is it with this "revolution", that all its revolutionaries are so very old and so very rich.

BoredofBrexit · 18/11/2016 21:08

60s children, baby!

BoredofBrexit · 18/11/2016 21:09

Born before their timeWink

Kaija · 18/11/2016 21:10

Baby boomers who couldn't come to terms with getting old you mean, and are taking it out on the next generation?

BoredofBrexit · 18/11/2016 21:11

Maybe. But I'm not complaining.

InformalRoman · 18/11/2016 21:55

Murdoch and Jerry Hall were costing up with Trump at one of his Scottish golf courses earlier this year. I was rather hoping there might have been a hideous golf cart accident but no such luck.

BoredofBrexit · 18/11/2016 21:57

Now that is humorous😀

BoredofBrexit · 18/11/2016 21:58

I love the word hideous.

GlassCircles · 18/11/2016 22:13

See I'd love a genuine punk revolutionary Robin Hood - most people would I suspect. But Trump so isn't that person. He lives life for his own amusement - hypocrisy and self interest are part and parcel.

claig · 19/11/2016 11:37

Judge Jeanine's opening statement after Trump won. Trump phoned Judge Jeanine and thanked her for her support.

She hits all the issues that brought about the Trump revolution - revolution, power to the people, political correctness, lies and bullying by global elites etc

They are still spinning like crazy on our TV news channels against Trump, our Oxbridge teams, but they are all spinning for the elites who lost to the people.

OP posts:
Kaija · 19/11/2016 12:12

Trump is the elite. £1million more people voted for Clinton than for Trump. This is not a revolution either by or for the people. That is probably what will come next.

BoredofBrexit · 19/11/2016 12:30

The Leave vote had a bigger majority yet it is still not being accepted by the losers some

BoredofBrexit · 19/11/2016 12:45

Claig, Spin, I heard last night that Trump wants to incentivise to return to the US the $2.5trillion of US profits currently held offshore, and restructure to cut China's hold. That will have massive global economic and political repercussions if successful.

claig · 19/11/2016 14:18

BoredofBrexit, yes, Trump wants to slash corporation tax to 15% and allow trillions of dollars held offshore by US companies to be brought back without high taxation on those funds, which will lead to more investment and jobs in the US. It will pull that money back from abroad.

And remove the threat of China calling their loans back

claig · 19/11/2016 14:31

'And remove the threat of China calling their loans back'

I am not sure about that. I don't understand what is involved in that and how it would work.

OP posts:
GlassCircles · 19/11/2016 18:34

Loving that Trump is outraged at the 'rudeness' of the Hamilton incident. Don't these employees people know their place?

Spinflight · 19/11/2016 23:08

Yes huge implications BoredofBrexit.

The EU is trying to tax grab American profits, particularly Ireland. If he amnesties them, which is a no brainer, and incentivises them to invest in the US then he can finally cause some inflation.

There is however a world shortage of dollars..

linkis.com/www.zerohedge.com/ne/zP7Co

And no mechanism for central bank swaps between China and the US.

This sounds like inflationary pressure in the states and massively deflationary in the developing world. Interestingly India very recently withdrew it's largest denomination banknotes causing chaos. More than likely we are at the beginning of another Asian currency crisis.

I can't for the life of me figure out what it will mean for us though.
