Oh give over claig

Chil1234 · 23/03/2011 13:33

We had the tough budget last October.... this one couldn't be tough as well. Don't think that equates to a 'false sense of security'.

claig · 23/03/2011 13:33

Down, down, down, Miliband is dragging us down.

happiestblonde · 23/03/2011 13:34

Can anyone take Red Ed seriously?

(Does anyone care what he has to say?)

Labour, not Osborne must 'appreciate the irony' of Labour criticizing growth plans

thaigreencurry · 23/03/2011 13:35

Deserves a knighthood?? You are a strange fellow.

meditrina · 23/03/2011 13:35

Better than I expected - no new spending cuts, some positive elements.

Miliband is majoring on low growth in his response.

PhillipeFlop · 23/03/2011 13:37

Typical Tories.

claig · 23/03/2011 13:38

JemimaMop, that's not me, that's my brother

houseworkwhore · 23/03/2011 13:39

chil....see if you say that on the next budget when we get totally screwed

ilovemydogandMrObama · 23/03/2011 13:40

Well, DH is going to lose his job. Just what we need with a 3rd due in 7 weeks. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

happiestblonde · 23/03/2011 13:40

What does your DH do?

RustyRainbow · 23/03/2011 13:43

Mumsnet!

molemesseskilledIpom · 23/03/2011 13:43

Did MN just get a mention then?

JemimaMop · 23/03/2011 13:43

Mumsnet just got a mention Grin

tigana · 23/03/2011 13:44

yep, MN is now a political buzzword!!

claig · 23/03/2011 13:45

what did he say about Mumsnet?

GastonTheLadybird · 23/03/2011 13:45

It did but he fluffed it.

I just can't stand Ed M. I want to like him but I find him utterly uninspiring and don't want to watch him at all.

The fuel duty cut is all well and good but it is fuck all really, 50p saved on a tank of petrol isn't going to mean much to the average Joe.

longfingernails · 23/03/2011 13:46

Miliband is a loser.

OP posts:
oopslateagain · 23/03/2011 13:46

No! I just turned it off and missed the bit about MN! What did he say?

PurpleHat · 23/03/2011 13:46

They are taking away Flexible Working rights to families with children aged 16-18
He said that David Cameron agreed to that after consultation with Mumsnetters- and is now taking it away

meditrina · 23/03/2011 13:48

ITV news - now!!!

MarioandLuigi · 23/03/2011 13:48

I completely missed it all as had to pick up DS2 from Playschool.

What is going to happen to Tax credits and other benefits. Are they frozen?

GastonTheLadybird · 23/03/2011 13:49

Why would anyone need flexible working for 16-18 year old children? [mind boggling]

Fuck, I think I might be turning into a Tory if that's the best that Ed can come up with Grin

PhillipeFlop · 23/03/2011 13:49

It's the trumpeting of the nothingness of it that is so irritating.
