Touching to see Mr and Mrs Cam crying at the school their late Son Ivan went to and all the nice words about the care he received. Pity is that he dosent give a toss for other children in the same or similiar positions, if he did he would not be cutting so much child provision.

Still not suprised, being a Tory or voting Tory says you are a selfish person.

Your comments are totally uncalled for. For gods sake the Cameron's son died last year. To say that they don't care about other children like Ivan is just crass. One more thought perhaps you need think outside of your box? I would say that most of the Labour party are selfish bastards as well, it does not mean to say that those who vote for the Labour elite are as also! Confused

mumblechum · 22/11/2010 16:42

That's just nasty, OP.

scotsgirl23 · 22/11/2010 20:14

Absolutely no need OP

newwave · 22/11/2010 21:22

But true all the same

OP posts:
DirtyMartini · 22/11/2010 21:24

No, not "true" -- absurdly reductive.

I'm no fan of the Camerons or the Tories, but there is absolutely nothing to be gained by this sort of below-the-belt stuff. Have some compassion.

kate1956 · 22/11/2010 21:57

It's difficult to have compassion for someone who patently doesn't care about others in the same position (only with no money) and who is actively seeking to attack the most vulnerable in society. Not uncalled for at all OP.

newwave · 22/11/2010 22:25

Kate, thank you. My point entirely.

OP posts:
huddspur · 22/11/2010 23:33

OP that is really nasty, whether you agree with what they are doing there is no need to be so hurtful and nasty.

Has anyone with disabled children had their provision substantially cut?.... Serious question. There's a lot of scare stories doing the rounds at the moment about what services are staying and which are going but has anything actually happened in practice.

Accusing Cameron of putting on the tears for the cameras is simply nasty. Hope you never lose a child.

Litchick · 23/11/2010 12:28

Don't like Cameron, but trying to make political points from the death of his son is very very low.

cedarcottage · 23/11/2010 13:50

thesecondcoming 'I'm equally sure they don't give a fuck about other kids and parents in the same boat'
Really??? You have absolute knowledge of this do you? Perhaps you and OP should become politicians. I don't think you become a politician originally without actually caring for society, otherwise, why put yourself through it? All you get are abusive comments from no-brainers like you and OP.
Get a grip.

MorocconOil · 23/11/2010 13:56

I'm with you Newwave.

It's despicable to use your child for publicity. He did it all the way through the election campaign, whilst Brown said nothing about his children.

The Tories don't give a stuff about the most vulnerable in our society. If so why cut midwives, why cut school sport, why severly cut social housing to name just a few of the services on the line.

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/11/2010 14:01

Christ.

I am no fan of Cameron, the tories or the cuts, and am somewhat to the left of Keir Hardie, but this OP is utterly uncalled for.

Where is your humanity?

MorocconOil · 23/11/2010 14:03

FGS all the OP is saying is that he is a hypocrite. Because he is!

cedarcottage · 23/11/2010 14:14

FFS how do you know?
Thank you all for completely undermining the intelligence of any of us voting Tory....and Labour voters really care for everyone...quite happy to spend money no-one has on useless non-jobs that got us into this state...STOP...don't blame the bankers entirely, nice, easy way out for you Labour lot!
I think that we should all feel very sorry for the Camerons....they lost a child. Nothing to do with bloody politics and everything to do with human compassion, which you leftie lot seem to have lost.

MorocconOil · 23/11/2010 14:22

Being compassionate is about caring about our society and the millions of children who will soon be living below the breadline.

Do you relly think billionaires suchas Osborne and Cameron care about child poverty?

Well said, SmallWhiteCat.

We lost our eldest son in very similar circs to Ivan Cameron, same age, condition, everything.

It's actually really unpleasant to have the death of a child in those circumstances tied in with party politics.

I voted labour last time, but tbh I think some of the cuts are absolutely necessary. And as someone else said, we're not in a mess purely because of the bankers, much is due to the labour party throwing ridiculous sums of money at families until a large swathe of society became dependent on handouts such as tax credits, and are now in deep trouble because of that dependency.

The Labour government... like all those other governments you mention... may not have been able to see the 2008 global credit crisis and subsequent recession coming exactly, but they made the strategic mistake of behaving & spending as though there would never be a recession again. The Irish government is about to be turfed out on its ear for the same reasons as they were.

mycounty · 23/11/2010 17:54

I thought bringing in politicians' children on this site was taboo, unfortunatley not it seems.Sad

claig · 23/11/2010 18:05

'i am amazed that the labour government when they were in power also managed to fuck up the economies of the following countries- ireland,spain,germany,iceland,greece,USA...'

I'm not amazed, it was to be expected

SixtyFootDoll · 23/11/2010 18:09

What a horrible OP.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 23/11/2010 18:10

So, cuts have already hit people? Am surprised as heard on the radio that none of the proposed cuts were in effect yet.
