Things are OK here today, CD. Baby seems to have popped back up out of my pelvis overnight so now I just have the joys of having a small persons bottom and feet poking up at my ribs I've had very few BH today and certainly no regular ones like I had yesterday. I spoke to my MIL last night who agreed that I might have been building up to labour so thank-you for all of your prayers. I'm impressed that I didn't even start twinging with the run-around that DD has been giving me today

Oh, and I do realise that it's a bit late in the day, but I still haven't said congrats to DO on the birth of her Granddaughter!

I really think someone doesnt like me at the moment,,,,, on top of everything else my newly laid laminate floor after a previous flood will have to come up as the waste pipe blocked and forced water back all over my kitchen floor!

Was chatting to the priest this morning at the Cathedral. Mentioned that I'd be doing a presentation on Miroslav Volf and she said "Oh, I know MV, I studied with him at Yale and Harvard!" . Glad SHE'S not coming to my presentation

Last I heard was on Friday the 2 pints of blood had made a big difference, and they were holding off on giving him any more, to see how he is doing... will email her...

Wilf and I are off to church shortly, a friends son is being christened which will be lovely!! I have got the readings all printed off and the prayers as well. I am worryingly organised this morning,,,, I have even got the lunch in the oven ready for when we get home!!

I'd appreciate a few prayers... my dad rang earlier to tell me my abuela died yesterday She had leukaemia. Last I heard was a few weeks back, when Dad sad she was improving and he made a comment that she always seemed like she WANTED to be in the hospital because everyone had to run around looking after her. Dad was concerned because his 2 sisters were having to take time off work to visit her, which they were having to take unpaid. I think he feels bad about his comment so please pray for him as well. He had a few ups and downs with his mother but in the last few years has really made things up.
We last saw her in October, she was delighted to see ds, her great-grandson, and we had a lovely afternoon visiting. She was a lovely person and I wished I made more of an effort to improve my Spanish to talk more to her. And now it's too late.
Abuela will be cremated tomorrow morning - they have to bury people 24 hours after death in Spain. So I won't be able to go. I'm hoping that they'll be some kind of memorial service arranged that I and ds could go to. Only problem is flights aren't cheap, but I can't ask dad for the money as he is really struggling at the moment - he's a builder, hasn't got much work on the banks won't lend him money to start some jobs he has been offered.

Hello all, sorry I've been missing in action this week! REturn to work went fine, Praise God, and the week just flew by. Oliver was as happy as larry in nursery .
Continued prayers for his sleeping would be most welcome. Last night was the second night since he's been born that he slept from midnight til 5am. Usually gettting 2 hourly or even hourly wake ups . Im so tired!!
