what is the most strangest thing that has happened to you that you couldn't explain????

had to start this thread so I didn't bore Snugs to death with it on the other thread lol

poor u have never suffered much from head aches let alone migraines but am a wimp so good job really lol....

hun do u use any divination tools?? do peeps at the meeting?? I used to douse all the time and still read 3 card spread every day just for bit of enlightment. just wondered if when I do come for the meeting if I should bring anything.

I haven't really posted anything other than the sparkly post on MF I think i amy of insulted a lass on their "angelstar" bless her I was so excited that someone had posted the guy underneath her I forgot her name when responding to say thanks

also I find it bit difficult keeping up with different sites am absolutley hooked to MN.

Sorry about that - ISP server went down so my connection crashed Had just typed a big post too!

Mumsnetter since mid to late 2001 (can't remember exactly). Has got a lot more addictive since I got broadband this year.

Re Mondays - Spinel has tons of cards to choose from, a few pendulums, crystals galore etc. If you have something particular you are comfortable with or want to share, then feel free to bring along.
Be warned, Spinel is highly likely to put you on the spot in some way or other - nothing serious so don't wind yourself up about it. Just likes to know where you stand ability wise so she can help you with a learning curve if need be.

Yes it seems like I probably attempted some astral travel. Wow I have never consciously done that b4... very exciting. But I must do some reading and protection if I am going to do more... the whirlygig feeling etc.

So I was cheating abit instead of being psychic and peeking at the symbols!!

Hi SJ... good to see you here. Went to the Mystic Familiar site that M&S and Snugs mentioned and saw in the Chat room section Magical Unicorns Oracle Cards and thought of you.

Snugs I get headaches abit.. especially when the weather changes... think baby paps is a sufferer too... my gran was a cluster headache sufferer which is really rough. Hope you are feeling better today.

paps - do you do the thing with the protective light (think we have discussed before)? You need to learn to ground yourself by the sounds of it.

Re psychic tests on site: please tell me I am either missing part of the site, or you and m&s know it is a joke? I can only find the trick cards.

Shame re Mystic Familiar - there were some really interesting discussions on there which have now gone, probably forever, due to idiot hackers. Hopefully the regulars will all sign back up and the archive will build back up again.

Cluster headaches - they are awful. My migraines are mainly visual problems and nausea/vomiting, with little pain. I had months of cluster headaches after meningitis in 2001 but (fingers crossed) only get them now if incredibly run down. I know what you mean about the weather change affecting you, I think it is something to do with air pressure.

really snugs?? thats scarey I always start shaking when I have to demonstrate things in frount of peeps... I love dowsing with pendulums though I could demonstrate that and my wee three card spread....

ooohhh snugs thats another thing I forgot to mention have u ever used a crystal ball I have had one for years quite a biggish one with it's little stand but I have never been able to use it I have tried doing the eyes out of focus breath deeply method but I've never been able to see anything. maybe I could bring it along for someone to try out

No, not a demonstration in front of folks hon - just Spinel or someone likely to ask you to try to do a reading for them (1 on 1) just to see how you do. And you can say no if you want . Just spoken to Spinel on phone and she has told me off - doesn't want me scaring you off .

Have a crystal ball but don't get on with it very well. Have you tried scrying with a bowl of water - or water and ink? That is quite good, will show you how at meeting if you haven't tried before.

I rememeber once alongggg time ago I put some water in a bowl and lit candles, all I rememeber seeing was what looked like a man with long hair, also used to try my own wee things like looking into candle flames with no profound results... the ink scrying sounds good am always up for trying new and wonderful things....

I am seriously into this Mystic site... have been chatting lots and posted somethings too
even talked to someone from NZ who works at the Uni I used to attend.. and she remembered me!! I did stand out... the witchy poo in black LOL

I can´t wait to meet up again too!! I promise to work on my grounding protection lots
