dh wants a wedding ring for xmas - he had his cut off 15 years ago - anyway this is v. much of a surprise to me.

dh is agnostic. so the blessing of the ring doesn't matter to him - mine is blessed

so do i go to back of church and ask priesty to bless the ring? dh isn't bothered and i don['t know if i am

Those Mary shaped holy water bottles do come in useful sometimes.

Do you have to bless wedding rings? I never knew that.

I think it's ok. But I'm not Catholic. I'm agnostic.

well i'm a weirdo catholic - it was rather a play on how we are viewed by those who aren't purple.

was going to go to the machester one - tie it in with a xmas visit to Oldham- but i will be going up in new year - so am off to the london one.

You see, I read 'weirdo catholics' and just thought "ooh, a thread for me!"
Lets face it, we are a bit weird to those not used to genuflecting and invoking saints at the slightest provocation.
