dh wants a wedding ring for xmas - he had his cut off 15 years ago - anyway this is v. much of a surprise to me.

dh is agnostic. so the blessing of the ring doesn't matter to him - mine is blessed

so do i go to back of church and ask priesty to bless the ring? dh isn't bothered and i don['t know if i am

i know its not important but any replies would help

Maybe. Is it built on an ancient Indian burial ground?

mum had her house blessed by Buddhist monks - it was lovely

Haven't got rings or house blessed but do have little prayer card of St Terese of Liseuex on my dashboard to remind me not to succumb to road rage (well, she just wouldn't would she?).

I remember getting our new house blessed when we were young. Don't know if priests still do that or if it's weirdy superstition? I would at least ask the priest to do it if I lived near anywhere creepy, to avoid The Fear.

LilRed I had the imprint of St Gerard and Our Lady on my hand for some time after the birth of DS. Had clutched a double A-side St Gerard/Miraculous medal all the way through labour. More weirdy superstition, obv.
