I found this prayer on Facebook and tought it was a beautiful way to start the new prayer thread.

There was a beautiful picture with it too, but I don’t know how to transfer that.

Can I please ask for prayers for my ds (44) who is getting the results of his tests for kidney cancer tomorrow. It is most likely cancer but he will find out how bad tomorrow. Can you also pray for me as I am driving over 150 miles tomorrow to be with him as the weather forecast is not good.

Not good. Ibs very bad and found out family member died today (the last that showed me any kindness) it should be devastating but everything just feels tilted.

I have just split the skin on my knuckle by curling up my finger. Watched the cut get bigger as I bent it again to have a look at why I was bleeding. Matches the one on the other hand now.

What the fuck happened to stretchy skin huh?

It's stretchy skin but it's also very thin skin as well, as you get older it breaks sometimes when it stretches, of its EDS related. I remember prof Grahame telling me.

Rubbish day with DS though he's been mainly calm he had 4 seizures and we ended up in A&E. Back now though and both DCs went to sleep quite well.
I've been away for work but I'm hoping to get to church tomorrow possibly with just DD as I need a bit of calm.

Thanks to whoever prayed about skin. It has healed up quicker than ever before.

It was really bizarre to watch it splitting, never caught it in the act before.

Thanks Becca, I could not find any information on it. I knew about stretchy skin, not the thin skin. Prof Grahame has some papers published. I have come across some of those.

Prof Grahame was the uk expert in EDS, I say was as I believe he's actually retired now (as opposed to when I saw when he was retired except for interesting cases!).

I hope you get all done you need to today. I was going to try and go to a service this morning but don't think I can manage it now. I know a church that's open so think I might go there to try and pray, my anxiety is dreadful at the moment. I can't process family members death at all.

just off to drop dd off at school again. thankfully it is ex's turn to watch. I like listening to her but today I could sdo with a rest this evening instead of watching a concert.

I am finishing a tank top for a’yarnie’ friend, the same ‘girl’ that I went to stay with in Vienna. That is exactly a year ago today.
