Today, I am grateful for a new year and a fresh start and for time spent with my family.x

Modern communications that allow me to see photos of young family members away on their holiday within moments of them being taken.

May I join? Just read most of this lovely uplifting thread.....Reminds me of Pollyanna books which I enjoyed as a child.

Today I'm grateful for a four hour non stop chat with an old friend, swapping family news, shedding a few tears over a sad event, and laughing like drains as old friends do.

Another lovely sunny day, with first lot of laundry in the machine - a good combination!
The comfortable feeling of routine about to be re-established after the free range nature of the summer holidays.
Some work done on the car that didn't cost as much as I was originally quoted.

A day with the dcs that ended with smiles despite being fraught to start with.
Knowing my dad has recovered well from his surgery.
Connecting/talking with my dcs.
