Hiya
I can speak basic Arabic and can read a little bit. The most important thing is that I can order food, so that's all I'm concerned about!! lol!!
You can't get circumcision done on NHS so hubby and I went to a Dr in Birmingham who is Chairman of the Birmingham Mosque - think its Mohammed Naseem - you can google him. He's done thousands of circumscisions and he was really good, provided cream and pain relief and had a follow up call a few hours later to see how Yusuf was getting on. I cried buckets as I'm not used to the whole circumsiscion in babies thing but now its done, I'm really pleased cos I found its a lot cleaner and Yusuf healed really well, Ill hamdu Illah.
One piece of advice I would give you is to get it done as early as poss as when they are younger, they are asleep a lot of the time so its easier on them whereas at 4/5months old, they are kicking more and could aggravate it etc.
I love the name Isa - so peaceful. We had picked out Yusuf when we first got married and it stuck with us all that time. We gave him the middle name of Nouredein as promised his mum would have middle name after DH's deceased dad if had a boy, so she was even more pleased with that!
If we had a girl, would have called her Sumayah Jeehan.....
Big congrats on being pregs within a month - very much saves the pressure of 'when are you going to have a baby' issue!! DH's family are already on at us to have a 2nd one!!! Eeek!!!
