Hi All

This thread (and several others) are about us sharing and learning together on our spiritual journey. It is an open space for open minds, so please feel free to come and chat and share your thoughts/stories.

The main book we have been discussing is The Celestine Prophecies book by James Redfield.

Morning all, Hi snugs, Juniper, my friend is with me often, I always talk to her as I read once that it takes a great deal of courage and energy for spirits to come through so you should acknowledge them. Melsy, your migraines may be related to the drafts you have been feeling, it may be the energies way of healing you. Glad to hear your problems are teeth and not ear related Papillon, try teething powders or chamomila (sp) they are wonderful. Juniper do not get your hopes up about a message - the fact that you know your nan is there may be her message to you.
I've just read this back - sound like mother hen with advice to everyone - sorry - just can't help it - I'm flowing today! must be the pg hormones. love to all {{}} p.s. glad my comments on ears helped Papillon, at least I don't always talk a load of old rubbish!!

You get it in chemists company here do them by Nelsons. They come in little inch size sachets and you give them every 2 hours. They help calm frettful feelings and pain I think. Im just looking for a link from Boots chemist.

papillon · 16/04/2004 09:51

maybe I could just give her some chamomile tea?
but she is only 5.5months

sorry to butt in...papillon, my homeopath is using Calc Sulph on my ds's eczema with incredible results (she tried kali sulph first, but didn't work well)...

also we use this incredible stuff SOS cream made only from plants and their bath stuff too...both v v good.

sorry, i'll get out of your way now

melsy · 16/04/2004 09:58

I think it is slightly different to chamomile. I would really reccomend it.

Have a read here

Theres a link to Nelsons web site at the top of the article. Its the one I use Nelson teetha.

Helsbels · 16/04/2004 10:01

Paplillon - no - stop!! Chamomile is not the same!! Chamomilla is completely different, Boots do their own - just called teething powders is their homeopathic range - nelson s do nelsons teetha available in Boots - . Reiki should help sooth eczema, funnily enough - I have suffered from insomnia since being 11 years old and reiki is the only remedy that has ever worked. Thanks for your kind comments about my pregnancy but the truth is that I am having a good day - I have terrible bouts of self doubt and worry culminating in tears and mild depression that last for days at a time. I think this is mainly due to the fact that I had a hard time bonding with ds and accepting motherhood for the first year and I am terrified it will happen again. I know logically that it won't as I am more balanced now and know what to expect etc., but sometimes logic and emotions don't match, do they? I get very wound up over the smallest problems (like we ran out of cat food yesterday!)- need to calm down and take my own advice!

melsy · 16/04/2004 10:06

Yes should have said I reccomend the powders NOT chamomile tea!!!

melsy · 16/04/2004 10:09

AAwww helsbels, it funny how we can help others with their stuff , but with ourselves we get in a muddle. I know how you feel, I was petrified with my 1st about bonding and being a good mum!!

papillon · 16/04/2004 10:14

Argh I am swapped in a trilogy ..dd and two threads.. back later once all is calm and camomiled !!

Morning all,
thanks for the messages.

Helsbels, one of my closest friends had PND with her DS who's 6. So bad she wanted him dead and didn't bond with him for ages. She worried herself sick with DD but was absolutely fine. She didn't bf so started St Johns Wort straight away and still takes it 4 years on. Like you, she was in a much better place 2nd time round and had sorted some issues which helped her cope with any down days.

Papillon, chamomilla is great for calming/teething etc.. you can just buy tablets though and crush them between two spoons. Make sure she hasn't eaten or drank for a wee while. 1/2 hour is recommended but it's not always possible with a baby. Also, don't touch the tablets with your fingers as the remedies are very sensitive. Just drop one onto a spoon and crush then put it in her mouth. Coffea is also good for sleep probs, you can give it as soon as she wakes. But isn't she 5 months? so she'll probs still be waking anyway? sorry if I'm mixed up with someone elses baby.

I'm totally chilling today. The kids are happy playing in the house and it's wet outside. We may go to the railway museum later on or we may not

Hope you're all well x
