Choosing your own reality is important but what external influences have shaped your reality.

World events
Local occurances
People on street corners handing out leaflets
A good book
A smile
Having a baby or two or three

So which ones?
And did it just influence you or did it influence others?

Do you feel aright if we continue to unlock - now who is upsetting who!
I had a home birth and it was fantastic. I am sad to hear that your experience was not as fufilling as mine was. I laboured the majority of the time by myself the midwife only arrived when I was fully dialated. She was amazed. I am a rather independant soul though.

Yes the sensitive thing. ... I have often found it to be a double edged sword... but that is true of many artists, writers etc who get up to all sorts of damaging tactics to express themselves or not.

As u can see I am quickly going loopy !!! NO I dont make up whoopers !!!!People normally do it to me. So I have upset you.

Every time i remember the birth I get terrbile feeling in my body. I found it to be a horrific experience. I think its wonderful when tis a good experience like yours. I hope the 2nd birth cancels out my 1st. It is shame to remeber my dds birth like that. But atleast I have no resenetment towards her , as I have read that can happen.

Hi angeliz !!

I haven't started reading it yet.
I am intending to start it soon, tonight maybe!

I think it'sa good time for me to start again as reading your threads,(i often lurk among you), i really want to re-live all that positive energy

melsy · 11/04/2004 13:56

Angeliz dont listen to me ths afternoon as it might drain u. I need to tap into the positive energy too!!!

papillon , I am saving it up to buy you something nice!!

papillon · 11/04/2004 13:57

A man told me once that instead of saying I hope... instead to say I am
It had a biblical reference - Jesus says... I am the way the truth and the light.
He said that Jesus meant that for every person. I kinda liked it... and feel it is more positive than wishing on a star (if u know what I mean)
I am going to have a wonderful birth.
I am not upsetting Papillon!!!

Angeliz join in if your here you are very welcome if u feel coneccted by it and the book!!! No lurking agreed???!!!

melsy · 11/04/2004 13:58

I am means the reality is happening already . I wish or hope means u can continue to wish want or hope for it!!!

Angeliz · 11/04/2004 14:00

I don't find it draining Melsy.
I think it's good that you can get things off your chest here

I write a diary and always find that therapeutic.

Angeliz · 11/04/2004 14:03

O.k

Thats why i want to raad the book again. I know what you're talking about but i have lost that feeling of 'living' it.

You were talking yesterday about people seeing it like a bit of a cult. I found that the first time. I was living in a very small village and the book got passed around. Alot of people thought we wereall mad!!!!!

melsy · 11/04/2004 14:09

Its great to hear someone saying they get what were talking about. That doesnt mean your not welcome if you dont BTW!!

I must be being sent messages to heal my trauma, may be now I am ready to relive it and heal it now. This is the 2nd day it has been up in my mind.

Angeliz · 11/04/2004 14:12

Was it the physical or emotional side of childbirth Melsy?

Angeliz · 11/04/2004 14:14

What i mean is, what part of it do you hate thinking about?

papillon · 11/04/2004 14:14

I have not re-read the book Angeliz - but that does not stop me gass bagging about it all... These threads were not started with the sole purpose of talking about the Celestine. But it seems to be a good common ground for people.
In fact this thread has not really been about the Celestine so much. Wot has been the theme here Melsy?
Connections to one another... grouping our collective energies... getting these off our chests etc

OP posts:
papillon · 11/04/2004 14:14

I am about to lurk abit... dd is up

OP posts:
melsy · 11/04/2004 14:15

Both , the way I was treatedin labour(or my reality of it), the way I was treated in the birth. I felt like I was a peace of meat on a slab. I feel sick about it. This is significant in my problems with anxiety attacks, I will print this out and take to my therapist on Tues I think.

melsy · 11/04/2004 14:17

I think it is the last sentance papillon in your paragraph. These experinces we have had add to it. Celestine is the springbaord to help make sense of it and give meaning to it & why we need to talk about it.

Angeliz · 11/04/2004 14:19

That is really sad Melsy ++++++

Papillon, what i maent was i've lost the magic that the book instilled in me the first time!
I thought these threads were all about the book and the insights!!

Think i may have got the wrong end of the stick but i am glad i did anyway as it made me remember that i have the book in my wardrobe!
