Lord, seal her lungs.

Sending love and prayers to everyone in the expat family. May God bless you all.

Im going to go up, maybe just let one swap for half an hour. I dont know. I just need to see her. come on wee hunny. I want to spill hot chocolate with you, and watch high school musical, and blow chewing gum bubbles through corridors and run away from people, and paint monsters, and play endless games.

But most of all I want you to recover and go to the swimming pool - as we planned. pink costume with flowers and butterflies and pink goggles. Love you wee Aillidhpie x

I am at Mass today and DS's school are all going. I am going to ask our Priest to remember Aillidh in the prayers so that there are loads of extra people praying for her too.
I am happy to contribute to any gifts - even if it's a load of M+S vouchers so that Expat does not have to think about cooking and can heat up good quality ready meals.

Aw, Giraffe, that is so nice. I hope you can go swimming with A soon. You take care of yourself too, of course. You are clearly a very kind and loving friend.

I prayed twice today already. The lord is watching her with healing thoughts. Keep fighting Aillidh.

Aillidh, I thought of you as soon as I opened my eyes. I am praying so hard for you. You are proving to be such a strong little girl, a real fighter, you are utterly amazing. Keep fighting sweetheart X

just keeping you updated as not sure what is being seen and shared. Apologies if it is here and I have missed it.

illidh update: she is on a ventilator. Air is leaking from her lungs, but it's too profuse to know from where as yet. She needs ALL your prayers, folks. Every one of them. To live. (this was at 1am)

Update: she is resting comfortably. Line's in and she's resting. Please, please pull for her, that a miracle happens and she heals up by miracle. We need you to be here for her, we're in a very dark place just now.(updated at 4am)

Oh Giraffes. Your swimming post made me cry. Come on A. You have thousands? Hundreds/ dont know, doesn't matter. You have lots of people behind you.

You don't know me, I'm more of a lurker than a poster but I have been thinking about and praying for you all over the last few days and nights and so has my mam.

My ds3 spent time ventilated in PICU in Edinburgh at Christmas. Many, many people were praying for him and us and I can honestly say that we could feel the strength given to us as a result of these prayers. I'm not explaining it very well but I hope you feel strength and peace from knowing that so many people across the country (& the world) are praying for you, Aillidh and the rest of your family.

I hope she is more comfortable on the ventilator and that it gives her body time to rest and heal. My wee one was struggling so awfully and CPAP didn't help him but once he was ventilated he was at peace and his lungs were able to heal. His situation was nothing like as complicated as Aillidh's but I hope and pray that she can now rest and that her body can start to heal. Much love and prayers from up here in Sutherland. Xx

Lovely post toomuch. My sis was desperately ill and there was no good news/hope and I distinctly remember sitting in the small garden outside the ward and feeling that peace flood over me. I was a very doubting Thomas.

10 yrs on she lives. I suspect non believers think we are mad. I'm glad I have that faith to give me strength
