Prayers for Aillidh.

Just wanted to start a prayer thread for expat's little girl, Ailidh, who has been very ill with leukaemia. Just wanted to show our support and pray that her treatment works and that she is back in action very, very soon!

DD and I lit a couple of candles at the cathedral this morning for Aillidh, and said a prayer for her.
Will keep doing the same for her every week when we are there. xx

glad the neutrophils are going up, and yes positive is good expat wishing Aillidh a fabulous birthday, still sending love and strength, i shall update my mum, she is a nurse and will understand it more than me as well! :)

I looked whlle I was out. Clintons got me excited, their stuff was Rapunzel which is either a different Disney film or Barbie. Sorry. We have four card/party shops. None had Tangled.

Bumcakes. all they had though were cards. I honestly thought it was a different film . My DD is far too old and grown up to watch Disney still.

expat, I think it's an awful shame but many doctors are so afraid to sound positive even if they are expecting a good outcome. Have come across it so many times. Aillidh is sounding better and better each day.

This keyboard confuses me, I feel like it is all ver to the left. It makes me type like cod.

Hello, sitting with Aillidh just now, so expat can wrap pressies. I think she seems a bit better - in that she not as grumpy/demanding! And has arms out blankets not snuggled up to neck. Sats seems low though - 95 on oxygen where as yesterday was 99/000 on oxygen. temp still up high.

Wont be up tomorrow - working 8-8 then ging to pick up the cake!!!!!! Next time after today i see her it will be birthday day! YAY!

I'm glad you can sit with her and give Leigh a break even yesterday would be good for her just to get away from that place for a few hours. And Aillidhs not on her own. I think it's good when she's telling them off and fighting them rather than just lying there. I said to expat yesterday don't think of it as a shame she had her 9th birthday in there but that she'll get another 9th birthday when she's out and better, 2 9th birthdays

Dr has just said to put her o2 up to 2 litres cos she not holding sats on oxygen. But chect xray was worse today so that explains why.

Yes was good for her to et out for a coffee/cake with you yesterday

News on FB is very, very good. No temp spike in 12 hours and pee-ing for Scotland!
