Prayers for Aillidh.

Just wanted to start a prayer thread for expat's little girl, Ailidh, who has been very ill with leukaemia. Just wanted to show our support and pray that her treatment works and that she is back in action very, very soon!

Expat, is there anything that we could all do for you? Is there anything you need or that would take some of the stress off even for a little while?
I am worried about you.

The wee lass is fighting bravely and we are all praying for a miracle.

So so sorry to read about your beautiful daughter. I will be keeping you in my thoughts today and I am looking forward to reading that Aillidh has turned a corner and is on the mend. xx

Just seen a post on facebook to say that Aillidh is showing signs of engrafting. So pleased for some positive news at last expat.

Please let this be what were all waiting hoping and praying for.

After expat mentioning Aillidh liked the Carly Rae Jepsen song at the moment I have emailed her management and they have said they will send her something. Can someone pm me an address that they can send to please?

When is Aillidh's birthday? I'll get her a card to stick in the post.

This mornings news sounds positive, I continue to hope wish and pray for that wonderful family.

Just a thought as Aillidh birthday is coming up and I have a Eilidh (pronounced then same way as Aillidh and is the same age) who hates the fact nothing ever comes with her name on it such as pencil cases, badges, door signs etc. Could we maybe start a thread on arts and crafts and get some special gifts made for a special girl. I know if my daughter ever finds anything with her name on it you would think she had won a gold medal. Just a idea.

What is the positive news this morning? Am not privy to the facebook info but cannot stop thinking about Aillidh and expat.

Daily Aillidh: Aillidh is engrafting! She has a rash indicative of graft v. host. She is still poorly with her infections, and up a lot during the night due to the flusamide, but thanks to everyone's prayers and support, there is much hope that Aillidh's graft will be successful! Her departure date has been pushed back a month, to 1 August, but we'll do our best to give her a great 9th birthday in here!
