Glad to hear your DDs skin and face are clearer mhd - my DD has had some very dry skin on her forehead recently. Keep thinking I must get something for it and for her from the chemist. Glad your DDs so pleased with the improvement though, and hope she has a great week away !

Glad you're feeling more positive too Smile

lostmywellies · 18/02/2012 23:22

Glad to hear you're feeling better, mhd. Hope dd can relax and enjoy her trip, without skin worries!

Tuo - what a blow after so much time and effort! Hope you can figure something out with work to improve things.

Hi jan. Sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. It's positive that you're in counselling together. Praying for progress, in small but definite steps. Having a little baby is such a tough time - hang on in there! Do you have anyone who takes the baby and gives you a break? Even more important when your emotions are in a whirl...

jan2011 · 19/02/2012 09:07

hi blackeyed susan and everyone else, thanks for your kind words. how did your painting turn out in the end? very brave to tackle painting, i would make a mess doing it myself! lostmywellies it is so difficult as we are both emotionally drained so none of us seems able to support the other and so we both often bring each other down. we don't really have people to take the baby much as my parents live too far and his mum has no transport. but sometimes my mum will come up and take us both out so thats nice.
just reading through the prayer list - so many needs at the minute. MAY God be with each of us - its a beautiful day here already but very cold. i haven't been to church in ages and feel bad about it but the way things have been its been a bit much. i want to be able to draw close to God even still. God bless u all today

JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 19/02/2012 09:29

Thank you, jan, that's a lovely thought to start a sunny Sunday morning with Smile I'm sure anyone will understand it can be difficult to get to church with a new baby - but will be delighted to see you when you do go along.

BellaDesconocida · 19/02/2012 15:31

Hello lovely people, please may I ask for prayers for my friends baby girl, she had an emergency op last night to remove something stuck in her throat, not heard anything since, unable to contact friend, thank you

DutchOma · 19/02/2012 17:12

How very worrying for you Bella and for your friend. Praying that matters will have been resolved by the operation and that she will soon recover. Let us know how she got on when you can.

Every blessing

BellaDesconocida · 19/02/2012 19:46

Thank you so much DutchOma, the operation was successful and she's fine. Such a relief!!! Thank you xx

DutchOma · 19/02/2012 19:49

And thank you Lord. Good to hear of prayer answered

blackeyedsusan · 19/02/2012 21:15

good news bella!

oh dear. it wasn't a good day.

OP posts:
lostmywellies · 19/02/2012 22:14

:( Sorry to hear that, bes. Did you try a new church? Has it been a tough day with the dcs?

blackeyedsusan · 19/02/2012 23:05

more a tough day with the "D" h and ds may have learnt one or 2 words he shouldn't have Blush

lack of sleep short fuse and h not engaging his brain before he opens his mouth have caused tension.

couldn't sleep. am regularly not sleeping until well into the early hours. I am wondering whether to see the gp.

OP posts:
lostmywellies · 19/02/2012 23:39

Oh, poor you, how awful. Lack of sleep makes everything virtually impossible, ime. And it's so tough that you have to have regular contact with him. I can't imagine...

Sounds a good idea to talk to your gp. Praying for a restful night and some time to chill tomorrow. :)

HallelujahHeisBorntoMary · 20/02/2012 07:52

Thats fantastic Bella :)

Prayers for you, BES. A word with the GP sounds a good idea, you sound at the end of your tether. Do you get any time when you can relax at all?

blackeyedsusan · 20/02/2012 07:54

overslept... wahhhhh...

OP posts:
JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 20/02/2012 10:17

Sorry you overslept bes How did the morning work out ? Or is that a silly question ? Was it a stressy nightmare ? Did you have DCs back to school today ?
(It was our first day back after half-term)

I hate mornings when we're all extra stressed and you're chasing your tail with no hope of catching it !

blackeyedsusan · 20/02/2012 14:53

we got to school on time minus breakfast for me... I have plenty of extra energy around my middle so i don't think I suffered.

just off to do the school run in reverse.

OP posts:
JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 20/02/2012 14:57

Prayers for all :)

amberlight · 20/02/2012 15:11

Catching up, and praying as I go. Feel so much better than last week so thanks to those who prayed. Very good weekend away with DH, too. Now back at work. Oh well Hmm

HallelujahHeisBorntoMary · 21/02/2012 07:39

Thats good news Amber :), prayers that the interview goes well today JWTO, and for MHD's dd to enjoy herself.

Please pray for a friend's new granddaughter, born at 28 weeks, weighs 3lb. Mother's waters broke at the w/e and its all been a bit of a worry...

Bluetinkerbell · 21/02/2012 10:55

Will be praying for everyone!

I will be giving up FB and MN for Lent! wish me luck

madhairday · 21/02/2012 11:03

Praying for your friend's granddaughter, Mary. Keep us updated.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend, Amber :) I must message you, I have something to ask you...:)

Blue, we will miss you, and keep you in our prayers, but I will be in touch, can't wait for the women's day now - still not too late if any one else wants to join us!

I was praying this morning and notevenamousie came into my mind - really felt called to hold her in prayer, so would you mind joining me in praying for her?

Dear Lord

Please hold noteven close to you at this time and help her know you are with her, walking alongside her. Please help her find freedom and bless her today. Amen.

JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 21/02/2012 11:18

Thanks Hallelujah for remembering my interview this morning - and all for recent thoughts and prayers.

It was fine but have to wait to hear from them now ...

(In any case was lovely how dd left me lots of good luck messages by my bed last night, and was generally very sweet wising me lots of luck Smile)

What to do with the rest of this lovely, bright day ?

I think it's ... Off to buy eggs and milk for pancakes tonight !

Hope everyone else has a good day too.

MarynotBeSarcastic · 21/02/2012 13:51
