I know I would appreciate prayers as I face the prospect that the Littlest Dippy starts school in a few short weeks (w/c 12th Sept to be precise). Feeling a little wobbly to say the least ......

Sweetest - praying that everything for your mum will go smoothly. It's such a hard time for everyone. Praying there'll be good news tomorrow for the friend in Spain.

TACP - you're doing great. All kids can be little rotters at times. My DS1 was a pain in the backside yesterday. I'm sure your mum just doesn't choose to remember those times.

yay! h is starting a new job tomorrow. he is based about 50miles away. he has been, (and gone,) to see the children. not sure what to think. he is emphasisinng the importance of seeing the children, but has caught an early train to go and get settled at his parents house. i can understand sort of...it is a long journey and his first week but... oh well, time will tell. I am wondering whether there will be texts to dd.

morning all. just off to collect ds. he cried going in this morning after several good days, and asking to play with the teacher yesterday. humph.

phew. been to the dr with dd and trailed round 3 pharmacies to find one with a supply of the medicine that was prescribed. then bought tea in tescos as it was very late. didn't get home til after dark. left most of the shopping (nappies) in the car til tomorrow. couldn't face going up the stairs with all that and can't leave children alone in the dark. thank God that we had a helpful pharmacist at boots who helped us find a store with a supply of medicine.

I've not been on in a couple of days as got a nasty infection on sunday, it has hit me for six as not had one like this in a while, ie can't get out of bed. It's funny because lately I've been feeling not very close to God and felt quite anxious in all the busyness and newness but it's now when I'm so poorly and forced to 'be' that I can sense God's presence again and even the excitement of what he is doing and power. What's that all about??

Praying for everyone here. If my lungs are useful for anything it can be prayer!!!

One lovely lady on MN has very kindly donated us some money so we can order Sterre's memorial stone, so we can hopefully have it up by her due date and All Souls day next month. Praise God!

please pray I can shake this ear ache. having to resort to paracetamol now. may have to go to gp. can't afford to be ill with the children to look after. have had a sinussy cold for 2 1/2 weeks and just can't seem to shake it and now it has gone to my ear.

Am feeling a bit all over the place at the moment in more ways that one. DH has been away for work since last Monday and doesn't get back until this Friday. My confidene got a bit of a knock last week.I just seem to be running around in circles. Need to focus.

It's amazing what the power of prayer can do. Now that something like this has happened I realise it.
I had a real emotional day today. Read through the prayers people had written at Sterre's funeral, sat crying with her teddy bear. Chose the wording for Sterre's memorial stone. the lady who makes them will send the designs at the weekend which we then need to approve and then she will start carving the stone. It was heart wrenching to do, but it will be so nice to have something on her little grave.

Can I ask for prayers for a lovely lady from my November babies thread. Her little girl was born prematurely in August, and I just read she died yesterday :( they don't know why, she was only just home after staying in the hospital all that time... Prayers for strength for her family to get through this difficult time
