Can you give the dog something of yours? Brown bread is ok, so are carrots (not too many of them though).

Dogs are designed to be able to fast though so should be ok without.

He was on starvation so missed his dinner last night so he wouldn't poop in the vets and at the hairdressers this morning. He would not be impressed at waiting till tonight.

I asked because had a weirdo moment cos of the flea treatment thing (not supposed to use dog flea treatment on cats as it can kill) so was just checking the food thang in case there was some only-for-cats-will-kill-doggies ingredient.

The odd slice of wholemeal bread is absolutely fine for dogs Mutt.

dogs can have wheat - it you chk alot of the 'average' dry food it is in there.

my dog gets some dry food (james wellbeloved) and lots of raw veg - carrots, brocolli, greens bean, sweetcorn and raw meat - steak and chicken, liver, kidneys and some tinned oily fish and natural yoghurt and cottage cheese.

a 'raw' diet is better for a dog than any cans/tins of dog food.

Dogs with a wheat allergy should not be fed wheat, correct.

the occasional bowl of cereals is fine aswell goats milk is better than cows, but the odd bit isnt going to hurt them.

I wouldn't give milk. My springer gets diarrhoea from any dairy stuff. Very unpleasant.

Yes, wheat is in brown bread. It is not a problem to give a dog wheat unless it is intolerant to it.
