So, to be clear OP - anything that doesn't make Mutt's dog fart can be given to your dog.

Goober · 16/07/2008 13:48

Cw and horse manure have pre-biotics in and are very good for your dog.

Nikkitwotimes · 16/07/2008 13:49

that's why I posted this - what's in cat food that shouldn't be fed to dogs ??

I really wanted to know otherwise I wouldn't have started this thread........

Come BACK GOOBER and tell me!!!!!!!!

when my dog was very old and not too well the vet adviced us to feed him cheap tins of tuna fish with plain boiled rice he used to love it

Nikkitwotimes · 16/07/2008 14:10

When I was young my grans dog (a male golden lab) once faked a heart attack when he was 15 on Christmas Day so we put him in front of the fire to die peacefully in the parlour

the fecker ate the enormous turkey while we were all inconsolable in the kitchen

lived two more years.......

ruby

they really are chancing buggers Mine has a liking for butter, which doesn't end up well, as she has stupidly sensitive stomach and can only eat Hills [boak]

Mine is totally motivated by food. She would run across hot coals for a stale piece of crust and loves chomping cat sick [heave] Since we have had her I cannot leave anything on the kitchen worktops, or on any surface as she will use whatever is near to aid her ascent.

NikkiTT

Our dog is a fussy bugger and turns her nose up at her own food until she's sure there is nothing better on offer.
She lurves cat food though, and our cat often chews his way into the dried dog food boxes.
