How many male and female pets have you had?

3 males no femalez

7 male, 3 female. I don't know what the fish were but in my head they were girls 😂

Cats - 3 females, 11 males.
Dogs - 4 bitches, 5 dogs.

I've had 8 cats in my life and only one has been male!

Two dogs, one cat, all female.

As a child, the family had four dogs, two male and two female.

Had eight cats in my life and only one was female. Male cats are generally nicer natured is my understanding, and our female cat was a right pain in the arse.

Totally agree, boy cats are much nicer. More laid back and affectionate. I find the same with dogs, although my current bitch is lovely.

Cat 1 male, dim ginger, spiky, he was a special cat that only we were silly enough to keep. He would have been awful with kids.
Cat 2 male, bright, friendly, talkative, liked to follow me, very nice nature.
Cat 3 female, bright, spiky, impatient. She's a bitch and I love her favourite
Cat 4 male, bright, clownish, clingy. So friendly and dopey.

Cat 3 and 4 are mother and son.

I'm not sure sex has that much to do with nature really.

6 dogs - 3 of each.
The females have all been easier, but I think that's more down to being better bred than the males.

I’ll really have to think now.

Of the 22 pets I can remember off the top of my head it’s 12 males and 10 females.

8 guinea -pigs for DD and I . 4 boars ( 2 entire , 2 castrated who married the sows . over a period of time)
At the moment 2 cats , Male / Female siblings .

Without exception the females are sharper , cleverer and sparkier .
The males all soft verging on not the sharpest tools in the shed

We look at present male cat and tell him it;s a good job he's castrated as he's paddling in the shallow end of his gene pool

What an odd question

As a dc 3 male rats, a female ddog and a female dcat
Female and male rabbits. Not at the same time!!
Girl guinea pigs.
Make and female dcats as an adult. 7 female ddogs as an adult. Now have 1 dcat of each and 3 female ddogs..
And reptiles of unknown gender /sex..

All our cats have been male ithink male cats are more dopy. All our cats have been affectionate.

What’s odd about it?

I've had two cats, both girls.

Cats: 1 male, 2 females
Hamsters: 4 females, 1 male
Rabbits: 1 female, 1 male
Degus: 2 males
Budgies: 2 males
And plenty of fish

Mostly individual except 2 cats and the degus, but some did overlap! They're all gone now except for 1 budgie and 2 fish.

All my cats bar 1 have been female and all my dogs bar one have been male
