How many male and female pets have you had?

One male dog.
Four male and two female cats.

One male dog, two cats of each sex. I like having a boy and a girl cat.

Common for MN. Someone trying to 'prove' that well known statistics don't apply by doing a really badly executed survey.

We currently have 6 cats, 5 of which are female.

Some years ago we shared 10 cats with a neighbour - some were officially ours and some officially theirs, but the cats treat both our homes as their own . 9 of those cats were male.

Neither situation indicates that there are more male or female cats in the world.

Vaguely remember having 2 guinea pigs when I was very young but that was short lived as a fox got into their hutch, can't remember their sexes

My pets as an adult
2 cats both male - interestingly both times I have gone to meet a female but come away with a male
