To ask me to show me your cat

Anyone willing to share photos of their cats and tell me about them? I am very much a cat person but I have never owned one myself and I am looking to find out what different personalities breeds/colour cats have as I am very much at a time where I would like to adopt and rehome one, would love to see some of your beauties.

Yes, you are unreasonable to come onto AIBU to ask this. I would be interested to know why you have when there are a million and one other places on the internet to see pictures of cats. Here we have an alternative view. My black cat Eve who is 3 has clearly done something to annoy my 15 year old and this was one second before armageddon. They usually get on very well 😂

We have a naughty tortie! She is a beautiful tortoiseshell rescue at around 4 weeks bless her as her mother was run over. She is quite horrid though. Gives absolutely nothing back at all. You can’t stroke her, pick her up or even walk past her without a backlash. She will only interact with you-by screeching at you-when she wants feeding! She’s sleeps with one of the dogs in their bed or lies in the middle of floor so you trip over her.

i think you get what you get with cats and they just do what they damn well please. I was so disappointed with our lady at first as I had envisioned cuddles and a cat on my lap but nope! Now we just laugh when we get swiped or bitten!

Despite being more of a dog person I have always had cats too. At one point I had 5.
We only have 1 now - she is 5. And rules the roost. She likes to sit on us & is very cuddly. She also likes to wash the dog's faces & take over their beds.

This is daisy. She is 16 now but is so friendly and sociable and more like a dog than a cat!

No I won't. I stand by what I said. I'm really interested to know what put it into OP's head to post here. If I genuinely wanted cat pictures, I think MN would be one of the last places I would think of and AIBU would be the last place on MN.

Can I suggest just scrolling on, like sensible people would do? Nobody is forcing you to hang around, it's a perfectly reasonable post. Don't like it? Don't read it! Simple really in the grand scheme of things 🤷🏼‍♀️ There are better posts to moan about on MN, go bother them instead!

Meet Adam, he's super fluffy and soft and so unbelievably patient with my autistic 5yo (he has escape routes and safe spaces, but seems happy to tolerate her clumsy affection). We suspect he might secretly be part otter, as he loves to roll round in wet sinks/just emptied baths.

Not sure why you came onto this thread: it’s clear what it was about. No one is obliged to post pics if they don’t want to, but there have been loads of pet pic threads on MN over the years and they’re always popular and appreciated, especially by me!
