To ask me to show me your cat

Anyone willing to share photos of their cats and tell me about them? I am very much a cat person but I have never owned one myself and I am looking to find out what different personalities breeds/colour cats have as I am very much at a time where I would like to adopt and rehome one, would love to see some of your beauties.

This is Finlay - he is 18 months old

Meant to add, it’s her house, I’m allowed to live there ( for now) and Jasmine is kind enough to let me pay the rent and bills and buy all her food and treats. 😁

This is Luna, he is a Ragdoll, so basically a soft toy with a pulse..

Super chilled! Rescue cat who loves to potter about and nap

Cosmos- he's a Siberian. He follows me around and sleeps at the bottom of my duvet.
He loves sitting on laps and purring loudly.

This is Misse. The most affectionate, playful, people loving cat I’ve ever known. She comes when she’s called, she greats me with a hello with a kiss on the nose every time she comes home and has even worked out how to open the back door. She’s Burmese, they are known for being cats with dog-like personalities.

Oreo and Zero sisters both nearly 3.

Oreo is a neck lick face shoulder cat always on the move. Zero is a lap cat who is more snuggly.

This is Lysander* who is a British Blue we think. In looks, he is a magnificent beautiful panther who should be on the telly. In personality he's a nervous homebody, constantly terrified that somebody somewhere may be eating without him. He has a squeaky little mew that always reminds me of Christopher Biggins.

Lord Ted and Gracie. They know they’re not allowed on the kitchen sideboards… but to be fair, they’re not big on human rules 😄

Non cat owner as sets off DH sneezing but place marking (for therapy reasons).

This is Murphy my black and white moggy, he's the naughtiest and most destructive cat I've ever had, but he's also the most loving.

I won't post mine as he's somewhat a local celebrity due to his adventurous antics but I've had several cats over my life.
My personal experience is that male cats tend to be more affectionate and loyal than female cats. I've only had moggies not pure breeds though and it is entirely potluck what kind of personality you'll get with them as they don't have specific traits as such.
To be honest if you're a cat person it won't really matter what kind of cat you end up with you'll love it anyway!

The prettiest cat in the world is my idiot. Not a brain cell to be found. But no bimbo, this ragdoll is an adventuring, hunting Bear Grylls kinda cat.

Here is Peppa, who is always on my lap the very minute I sit down!

And she's wearing the pelts of all her enemies there too!! 🤣 what a posh pusscat.

This is mine. I have to groom him everyday and he steals my bed 😼

Loki and Leia. My brother rescued them off the streets in Sao Paulo. They all moved in with me during lockdown. My brother moved out after a couple of years and we decided it would be best for them to stay living with me. (He’s always moving around) Something I’m very glad about as I absolutely adore them.

Beautiful Marley 8; rescued him when he was 3. The most loving, gorgeous boy! And so fluffy.

This is Jasper. Sometimes he acts like a dog - but I think that's just to amuse us humans....

Little Miss Tonks who loves to lick my feet and snuggle on my lap 🥰

This is Loki, smallest and fiercest of all mini panthers! She brings many presents (a giant rat yesterday), and announces the gift giving by dropping it on the lawn and shouting loudly so we all come see what she’s brought us for tea! Shes not big on being picked up and cuddled, but loves to cosy up on your lap and head-but your chin. Hobbies are: chasing bits of paper and the laser cat toy; opening drawers in DS1’s room and pulling toys out; eating nerf darts.

Our beautiful, chonky Maxiboy. We lost him 5 weeks ago after a short illness at just 10. We miss him terribly.
