My cat wasn't hit by a cat, he was shot!!!!

Vet just phoned me and said that Nemo has been shot and the pellet has gone through his femer bone and shattered his leg into 10 small pieces.

i was in a police station yesterday ( whole other thread) and im sure i saw a poster saying that air guns were now illegal unless you had a firarms licence.

hopefuly the police can track down where the shooter is and break his legs! oops i mean arrest him of course.

how sick can some people be?
hope Nemo gets better and doesn'y need the amputation, if it helps at all i have seen many 3 legged cats/dogs and they seem to adapt pretty well.

my friends cat was shot and had to put to sleep. DD2 cried when I said that nemo had to stay at the vets, she said 'go and get him, he's our cat' Haven;t told the girls the full story, but DS knows, he knows that a nasty person has shot Nemo and that he might lose his leg but he said 'at least he is alive'

the house is ready, been finished for months but couldn;t move in because the planning issues. Its sitting there empty.

he is sitting in a cage all by himself at the vets
Was told in may that we would be moved in 2-4 weeks, by the housing officer, but they said last week that its something to do with the council planning dept. handing over the houses.

oh god im so sorry this has happened, it makes me sick, evil fuckers, how on earth can they get pleasure from shooting an animal? deserve to have the gun fired up their arse!

can visit on monday as the vet is closed till monday. So will be going over on monday morning, and I have said the kids can see him after school.

I believe that is right, you can buy air guns anyway. Until the vet gets the bullet out we won't know what sort of gun it was.

oh thats good, at least that might cheer him up a little? i feel so sorry for him, i really hope they catch whoever did it, who know what they are going to take shots at next?

the ASDA or Sainsbury's delivery driver.

ASDA and Sainsbury's have blacklisted the entire EH14 for online delivery due to their drivers being shot at w/air rifles.
