Here is a link to the above petition. Something I feel strongly about.

🤣 some people have too much time on their hands

silverclock222 · 11/09/2022 11:11

Not Welsh and don't stay in Wales so absolutely none of my business or anyone else in the same position.

GreenL6 · 11/09/2022 11:15

Wouldloveanother

William had become Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus in 2011, just before his marriage to Middleton, and became the Duke of Rothesay and Duke of Cornwall on his father's accession to the throne.

They can also make new titles, maybe Prince of England more apt!

What makes you think those places would want it any more than Wales does?

maddy68 · 11/09/2022 11:43

Why? I am Welsh I am happy for William to be my Prince

KalvinPhillipsBoots · 11/09/2022 11:48

Get a grip ffs

FOTTFSOFTFOASM · 11/09/2022 11:49

Georgeskitchen · 10/09/2022 21:46

Yep. Fine by me . Have an independence referendum as well
Byeeeee!!

😂

haveyouopenedyourbowelstoday · 11/09/2022 11:57

Oh really? All the major things wrong in the world and this??
Welsh, proud and its a no from me.

MenaiMna · 11/09/2022 12:03

All 3 members of this Welsh household signed. UK royal tradition is part of the history, shouldn't be part of the now.

Freedomfighters · 11/09/2022 12:13

No.

MoodyMooToo · 11/09/2022 12:28

Nope. Anyway how is signing a petition going to help your cause? Why do you feel so strongly about it?

DreadingWinter · 11/09/2022 12:32

Just watching the declaration live from Cardiff. All so positive. Why have a petition? It won't make the slightest bit of difference, but is jarring in this period of national mourning. I'm a republican and I find it rude.

Discovereads · 10/09/2022 22:15

Pack of hateful lies. Not signing. You should be ashamed of yourself.

100% agree with you

ScarlettnotOHara · 11/09/2022 12:34

Welsh and a big NO here! 😂

I don't feel any need to be respectful to Wales.

That's pretty ridiculous.

NellieJean · 11/09/2022 12:38

To misquote PG Wodehouse “it’s never difficult to distinguish between a Welshman with a grievance and a ray of sunshine”

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 11/09/2022 12:44

*don't feel any need to be respectful to Wales.

Why is it pretty ridiculous? my only contact with Wales is attending a Welsh university (which isn't exactly covering itself in glory ATM re the GC/TW debate. Lovely country and I look forward to visiting it again but why should I respect it?

ImAvingOops · 11/09/2022 12:45

It doesn't seem like the most pressing of matters, given the level of poverty in Wales - rather than getting all worked up about something that happened in the 1200s, maybe worry more about what's happening now re standard of living.

Ahf22 · 11/09/2022 12:47

What an embarrassment.

Indeed, perhaps more energy could be put in to petitioning about our mess of a devolved NHS, the cost of living crisis that will already see the poorest nation of the UK pressed even harder 🤔

And that Drakeford in his role, has done nothing for Wales really. No idea what we pay him an eye watering amount of money to do.

He needs to shut up about the woes of "Westminster" and how unfair it is and you know, maybe do something about it rather than just whining on about it, over and over again.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 11/09/2022 13:39

I'd be more worried about who you have in charge now. During the lockdown he acted like a dictator with every sign that he was enjoying it.

LondonQueen · 11/09/2022 13:43

FFS

His behaviour was shocking, he practically rejoiced at closing the border between England and Wales! And he deliberately was taking longer than England to soften rules, even though we had lower infections and lower transmission rates, the people wanted to move at a similar time frame not 3 months behind 🤦🏻‍♀️

TroysMammy · 11/09/2022 13:50

Nope. The problems in Wales are not caused by the Prince of Wales. Wales is run by Labour.

Exactly. Good point.
