Shocking customer service

Good Morning

I am requesting as much help as possible to get FB to provide Customer service .
My account was hacked and the hacker proceeds to taunt me about what I had lost and what he was Upto in my account .
My account is so precious to me , it contains all my pictures, children’s first / day at school , birthdays, riding a bike the list goes on and on. I left a DV relationship and we had very little time to collect out belongings so this is so upsetting for me .
Upon trying to access my account and trying to find solutions to this it has come to my attention that there are thousands of people affected by this .
FB is a lifeline for some people and such scenarios are affecting people’s Mental health and well being and leaving them to feel isolated .
Facebook is worth billions , yet there are no humans in customer service .
I’m campaigning to change this

Really? How much do you pay for Facebook? “We” (as in people who use it) are the PRODUCT, not the customer.

This is true, however I do think they should provide a certain standard of service to the people that use it, whether we are the product or not.

I don’t think a company should be made to provide customer service to people that aren’t customers. If you paid a premium membership rate to use it, or were an advertiser who paid to advertise via Facebook and they didn’t deliver on something you paid for, then yes, I could agree on that.

You’re literally not the customer as you don’t pay them any custom. You’re a consumer, a user, and a product of Facebook. That’s it.

Nice to see your empathy .
In my particular case I have lost every picture of my family , lost contact with friends and am now isolated once again because a multi million pound company can not answer an email or phone .
There are thousands of people affected by this , some have suffered severe depression and anxiety related to this .
I am highlighting the detriment and whilst I wouldn’t expect any one who didn’t want to to help me campaign for this I would expect any human to be empathetic enough not to be negative . Thank you for your comments though , have a lovely day .

I'll sign just because its a fecking ridiculous way to run a business! Product or customer they still need us. However, they've evaluated and decided people will just create new accounts so not worth the hassle. Its pants, its fraud and they should have a better system. I say this as someone who worked for one of the mega tech companies and know exactly what is possible.

My SIL also lost her account to a hacker.
