Please sign this petition to have crimes by men, recorded as men's crimes

This petition has only 6,000 signatures - 4,000 short of the number required to force parliamentary debate.

Men who identify as women are having their crimes recorded as "female" crimes, even when these include rape, sexual assault of children, and violet assaults.

Not only does this completely skew official figures, making it appear that women are committing violent crimes, but it makes catching perpetrators more difficult (a recent violent TW criminal was described to the police as a man - by four victims. Police later apologised for not apprehending "her" sooner and said they didn't realise that they should have been looking for a "woman"). It also means that victims, even of rape, have to address their assailant in court as "she". Misgendering will have them jailed for contempt.

This is outrageous. Official statistics MUST reflect scientific truth.

Especially so that sexual and violent crime victims are not be forced to refer to their male attackers as ‘she’.

I can't access the petitions board elsewhere as can't locate it from normal drop downs. I don't think it's user friendly findable enough to push it over to it's own corner. If they're going to do that they need to make it more accessible.

Thanks. I do think they are well hidden away there.
And I'd like to share it on my other social media, but that would paint a massive target on my back. Which is why it hasn't done well as a petition, as say, the hedgehogs one has.
Which is why it's so important it's allowed in a high traffic part of the anonymous site.

I only stumbled on this by accident, signed, but this should be on aibu or chat to get more signatures.

I think all we can do is keep it in active as the MN policy is to keep petitions in the locked filing cabinet in the cellar where the lights have gone & so have the stairs (apologies to the wonderful Douglas Adams!)
