This petition has only 6,000 signatures - 4,000 short of the number required to force parliamentary debate.
Men who identify as women are having their crimes recorded as "female" crimes, even when these include rape, sexual assault of children, and violet assaults.
Not only does this completely skew official figures, making it appear that women are committing violent crimes, but it makes catching perpetrators more difficult (a recent violent TW criminal was described to the police as a man - by four victims. Police later apologised for not apprehending "her" sooner and said they didn't realise that they should have been looking for a "woman"). It also means that victims, even of rape, have to address their assailant in court as "she". Misgendering will have them jailed for contempt.
This is outrageous. Official statistics MUST reflect scientific truth.
