Signed it. I'm trying to sign/fill in consultations as much as possible these days. I can't do all the amazing things other people are doing, but I can do this.

Thank you for the token share for the article, Errol. Excellent article.

And I love the photo of the laughing Green Party activist that accompanies the article on women being banned from gathering to speak about women's rights. Whoever chose that photo knew exactly what they were doing.

I have signed too. And almost finished the GRA consultation, too many distractions, like work and housework and cooking and cleaning! I have a day off tomorrrow, I will finish it.

I don't know how to get the shared link for the letter but someone else has on one of the other threads about this (the one with most posts I think though I'm getting confused which is which). You have to scroll down, the letters all come as one page.

Both of those, petition and article, are brilliant. A clear laying out of the problems.

Tras really shoot themselves in the foot by their assumption that they're entitled to bully everyone. Alison Moyet posted a very polite, restrained tweet asking not to be referred to as cis, that was that was needed for the wrath of twitter to descend on her. The more they've bullied, the more people have seen through the aggression and entitlement.

Dr Misogyny has just tweeted Stonewall have an emergency meeting this morning to discuss this. Who knows if that's true, some great comments on the petition.

Stonewall have responded www.stonewall.org.uk/stonewall-stories-category/come-out-lgbt/our-work-trans-equality-heart-our-mission-acceptance , it's pigheaded, unmoving bullshit as one would expect. In in they put scare quotes round ‘sex based women’s rights’. It's time to campaign to get them defunded by their corporate masters, they are actively campaigning against the rights of women and lesbian women.

The quote "The petition also asks us to acknowledge that there is a conflict between trans rights and ‘sex based women’s rights’. We do not and will not acknowledge this". Totally sums up and highlights their total misogyny.
