WIBU

To ask you to sign The Independent’s petition for a vote on the final Brexit deal?

Yes, I know Brexit as been done to death. Just posting here for traffic really. Am prepared for the total flaming that inevitably follows. Light up those flame throwers.

Already at 160,000

We need to be able to turn down a bad deal or no deal. We need good options.

I feel I may need a sexier title to attract people to the thread.

How about: Free Chocolate?

Talkstotrees · 26/07/2018 10:08

Perfectly reasonable. If we were qualified to make an in/out decision on scant facts, lies & feelings, we should most definitely be trusted to make a decision on the final deal (including calling the whole thing off).

Actually, in my opinion we were absolutely not qualified, but since the damage has been done...

frumpety · 26/07/2018 10:12

Signed .

MichaelMumsnet · 26/07/2018 10:17

Hi all. We're moving this over to the petitions area.

Quietrebel · 26/07/2018 10:17

Regarding the title for this thread, maybe something like "aibu to think we live in a free country?" Could be quite click-baity

Quietrebel · 26/07/2018 10:18

Dear MNHQ please do not bury this thread!

Talkstotrees · 26/07/2018 10:18

Buried. Who ever goes to the petitions area?

MissSusanSays · 26/07/2018 10:19

Please, please don’t! @MichaelMumsnet

No one will ever find it!

Mumsnet, YABU to bury this in a place where it won't get read!

Angry
MissSusanSays · 26/07/2018 10:20

@MNHQ please move it back! Otherwise i’ll Have to start another thread in every area of Talk.

I’ll do it. And they’ll all be about free chocolate. So you’ll never find them.

To be fair to me, the second thread has all the potential to be an entertaining AIBU- Brexit, bad thread etiquette and MNHQ heavy handed behaviour. All I need now is a parking angle. And a MIL

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 26/07/2018 10:33

AIBU to want to travel to France with my dogs?

I’ll start that for you, dogs always get MN going
