Why is it so hard for people to understand the difference? Drives me insane. I know people don’t like to be corrected, but I feel that there is a need to raise it because otherwise social media perpetuates the problem.

Yup.
On one thread there's something like 'Harry and Meghan Netflix too'.

A couple of weeks ago there was a thread about the food for 'A holy beige buffet'. I was wanting to ask how many bishops, priests and deacons had been invited but I daren't.

Good job you didn't post isn't it?

Are beige buffets an 'in' thing, or no more than green or red buffets? I assumed it meant that the food was to be beige and was what I would call a 'wholly beige buffet'.
I once had some pun fun with someone, about wholly holey socks and I suppose if they were worn by a vicar they could be described as wholly holey, holy socks.
