If you got an invitation with this on, what would you think about it? And would you take a present, or not?

Can we throw things at the next person who doesn't read the thread and assumes it is because I don't want tat?

lolololololol at this thread
it's going to go on for days
every few hours someone coming on and saying:
"Oh don't worry you can just take the unwanted gifts to a charity chop"

can't wait

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/03/2007 21:45

No Franny. Because it is Just Not Nice.

And, it denies what MN is really about.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/03/2007 21:46

I might throw in the occasional post of mock-shock at Franny not wanting tat for presents to see if it throws folk off the scent of What This Thread Is About.

ah lostinfrance this kind of thread makes me smile, and restores my faith in mn for some strange reason, the huge response is great

and F&Z is surley shocked at the response being so massive?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/03/2007 21:49

I agree, Franny is surly

southeastastra · 14/03/2007 21:49

I would say leave well alone.

Send a normal invite.

Otherwise you are making a problem when there is no need to IMO

Infact my head is spinning after reading this thread.....

MrsGurningFreak · 16/03/2007 22:34

if it was my dd she'd be very disappointed if she didn't get any presents on her birthday. if you really don't want a houseful of presents then you can always take half of them to the charity shop. hth.

FrannyandZooey · 16/03/2007 22:36

MamaG · 16/03/2007 22:40

I can just see her, snatching presents out of bewildered children's hands hissing "thanks" and chucking it, hard, into thecorner of the room, syaing to DS "DON'T TOUCH IT"

Greensleeves · 16/03/2007 22:53

Honestly Franny, the odd plastic toy isn't going to harm his development you know, I mean - loosen up!
