That they are coming or not? Driving me mad, dd's 3rd bday party on Sat and 10 of them haven't replied. They're mainly friends from nursery so I have no way of getting in touch with them and I'm unsure of how many to cater for... aargh

same happened to me last week. of 11 7 didn't reply then 3 replied on the friday night and I'd given them a deadline but we have got chicken pox going around. Personally I would always hire cos i don't feel comfortable having mums/kids I don't know in my house which means having numbers is really important or you waste money on kids not coming. First time dd2 has had a party and I wasn't expecting that amount of rudeness.

Don't cater for them Hayls...and when they turn up say in a loud voice - 'unfortunately, because your parents have mush for brains and can't even respond to an invite, you ain't coming in. But thanks for the present'

lol Huw Edwards, would love to see their responses! 2 have since phoned me (apologetically) so we now have 12 . I have had to make up party bags and buy food for another 8 though
