Hello DS2 will be one in November and I have absolutely no idea of what to get him or what anyone else could get him. He has loads of clothes from DS1 and it would be silly wasting money on new clothes as his brother's ones are like new. Toys well we have so many and I put away DS1 toys as he started growing out of them. I suppose we could have some more but what? Any thoughts? Any other birthday present ideas apart from money? Thanks

I think the best present my 1 year old got was an inflatable paddling pool and two bags of ball pool balls - it's the only thing he plays with every day and actually works out as a fairly cheap gift. Wish I'd thought of it not his Aunt.

Pain in the ass rounding up the balls every night though Grin

Agree with the paddling pool & balls, my ds had one too for his 1st birthday and loved it. Also he absolutely loves his trike that we can push along (like this one), although he creates now about going in his buggy he'll quite happily go in this when we haven't got time for him to dawdle walk

I bought mine some of the nice childrens china, a bowl and cup each. You can get a eally nice hungry caterpilar eggcup and plate set. here

Now they are older, 3 & 4 they love using them.
