DS1 - 9 1/2yr - aged 9/10 clothes (top and bottom

DS2 - 6 1/4yrs - aged 7/8 tops, 6/7 trousers

DS3 - nearly 3 (end of the month) - 3/4 tops (mostly 4yrs), 3-4 trousers just fit him still

NorbertDentressangle · 09/05/2010 13:08

DS is 5 and in clothes ranging from 4-6yrs, maybe the occasional age 3 item.

DD is 10 and her clothes range from age 6-10. Last week, during a clothes sort out, I finally persuaded her to part company with an Age 4 skirt. It still fits but I'm sick of the sight of it after so many years! She is very petite though, getting taller but very thin

DD - 2.4yo in 18-24 month clothes and some 12-18month

tortoiseonthehalfshell · 09/05/2010 13:13

18 months, in size 1 (or 12-18 months) and will be for some time. She's average height but 25%ile for weight and everything fits generously. Some of her pants are capri length by the time she outgrows them sideways though.

pickledmonkey · 09/05/2010 13:15

bigger, ds(8) is in 10-11

islandofsodor · 09/05/2010 13:18

Dd aged 8 and a half is in age 8-9

Ds aged 6 has just gone into age 3-4

BertieBotts · 09/05/2010 13:20

Smaller - 19mo DS in mainly 12-18mth clothes.

DS1 is 4.5 and wears 5-6 clothes
DS2 is 2.3 and wears 18-24 months stuff with some 12-18 months still
Little and large

moaningminniewhingesagain · 09/05/2010 13:26

DD is 3.1 and quite petite. Tops vary from 12-18m , a tight squeeze - to 3-4y, too big.

Trousers - 18-24months a perfect fit but can squeeze into some 12-18m. 2-3 trousers tend to fall down now she is in knickers - her cloth nappies used to hold them up really well.

DS is in the 'right' size for his age.

insprognito · 09/05/2010 13:28

DD aged 7 is so tiny she's in 4-5 and waist bands are always too big on her if the length is o.k .Am pleased it's summer (kind of) as i can get her shorts in age 2-3 which fit her perfectly. She's even been known to put my 19 month olds trousers on !

DD2 nearly 6 is in 5-6 or 6-7 depending on the shop.

DD3 19 months is just about in 12-18 months although most her 9-12 month tops still fit.I think she's going the same way as dd1 though as her trousers are forever falling down so I tend to stick to leggings or dresses atm.

bruffin · 09/05/2010 13:29

DS 14 mens clothes 30inch waist trousers and medium/small tops

DD12 14 year old clothes or size 6/8 adults

CAT64
MY DCs always wore pants/knickers 3 or 4 years younger than their age but DD was in tops 2 years above and DD was in the right clothes size

NoahAndTheWhale · 09/05/2010 13:31

DS is 6.5 Tops mostly 5-6 or 6-7. Trousers need to have adjustable waists to be 5-6 or 6. Really his waist is about 3-4 I think (he is fine in 3-4 pants or shorts).

DD is 4.7. Her tops are mostly 5-6. Bottoms 4-5 I think although some are starting to look a bit short. Her pants are 5-6.

hellsbelles · 09/05/2010 13:38

DS is very tall so although only just 7 he wears 8-9 or 9-10 clothes. Today he actually has a 10-11 top on but it's a gap one and I'm convinced they size small.

DD is tall and wide - she's 15 months but fits very well into 28-24 months.

hellsbelles · 09/05/2010 13:39

err 18-24 months (sorry!)

BallpointPen · 09/05/2010 13:45

DD is 7 (8 in June) and wears age 9-10. She is long and lean, lucky girl.

hazeyjane · 09/05/2010 13:46

Both dds in mostly 3-4 clothes (they are 3 and 4)

But there are loads of clohes that they seem to have worn forever, from 9-12 month tshirts from H&M to some dresses for 3-6 months, that they wear as tops with jeans.

They are both really short, with short arms and legs, so all their jeans have to be turned up. dd1 is skinny, dd2 more solid.

ShadeofViolet · 09/05/2010 14:39

DS1 is 9 and wears 7-8 tops and trousers and has the smallest waist so we struggle with trousers that fit.

DS2 is 3 but wears 12-18 trousers, though he does wear 3-4 tops. He has tiny little legs.

DD is 19 months and is wearing 12-18 trousers but 18-24 tops, so she is probably going the sam was as her brothers

my kids are fine. the companies who size the clothes on the other hand seem to think that all children are fat, which is why i cant find clothes to fit around there waists.
dc1 aged 13, clothes that fit his waist are made for 8 year olds, but heightwise, 13 14
dc2 similar picture. shorts are the best option really
dc3... same picture. dress would work well, if they didnt all end up being so short.

TulipsInTheSunshine · 09/05/2010 17:40

dd is 5 and can wear anything from some size 2/3 clothes up to 5/6 clothes depending on brand... she's tall but very skinny.

ds1 is 3, almost 4 and is in 4-5 and 5-6 clothes, 3-4 is too small for him.

ds2 is 15 months and is still wearing some 3-6 month t-shirts , is mostly in 6-12 or 9-12 but i've started buying him 12-18 in the hope of a growth spurt, quite baggy on him though
