DD is 8.5 months and wears a mix of 9-12 & 12-18 month clothes. Trousers need to be the larger size to go around her Itti Bittis but we also still have a couple of 6-9 month t-shirts. She's not crawling yet though, so I'm hoping the 9-12 month items will have a second wind once she loses some of her chubbiness.

Always bigger - DS is 7 and is growing out of the last of his Age 9 clothes. DD is 3 and is mostly in 4-5, with some age 6 (certainly no age 3 - that has all been passed on to a friend)

dd 6 in aged 8/9
dd 8 in aged 7.

DD is 2.10 and in size 2-3 clothes.

Shorts are different as they don't get too short

The other day DD came home from nursery in a pair of nursery jeans that were a few inches too short but otherwise ok, and when I looked at the label they were age 12-18 months. I guess if they'd been shorts they would have been perfect

DD is 4

I have just started buying aged 2-3 trousers!
She wears aged 3-4 and 4-5 T shirts

Dds are 9

They need aged 6-7 waistbands and aged 9-10 leg length. I am buying aged 8-9 or 9-10 tops depending on the style.

mememe30 · 10/05/2010 22:46

ds aged 6 is in age 4 clothes
dd aged 8 is mostly in the right size but need adjustable waists!!!

Beauregard · 10/05/2010 22:49

dd1 is 8 and wears a 10/11
dd2 is 4 and wears mainly 6/7

Lubyloo · 10/05/2010 22:50

DD is 4.6 and wearing age 6-7. Need the bigger size for the length and have to buy adjustable waists so I can take them in.

bibbitybobbityhat · 10/05/2010 22:52

DD is 9 and wears size 10-11 clothes for length but they tend to be too big on waistband.

DS is 6 and wears 7-8, ditto problem with waistband.

I have tall slim children which is a bit funny seeing as how I am 5'2" and 2 stone overweight .

Jeez my DD is a giantess then - she is 8 and last week I had to buy her M&S age 12 school summer dresses most of her wardrobe are age 11 but some of the smaller brands are age 13/14

Its getting quite hard to buy things which dont have shaping for a cleavege or bust

She is on 98th centile for weight and height and NOT obese, does have a thing about being biggest girl in her class

DD is 7 and wears 7-8 clothes occasionally 8-9

DS is nearly 5 and is wearing 2-3 occasionally 3-4

DD is 15 months and is just in her 9-12 month clothes but mostly in 12-18month.
