Does it count if you have leant some to a friend and don't have them to hand? If so add 4 x pooplini large (Sandy type things) = 274

Blimey!

You should start a rent-a-nappy trial scheme for MNers

I think I'm up for the prize for the most boring/restrained nappy collection going, I have forced myself to sell off all nappies I bought to try and didn't get on with.

24 size one Bamboozles
18 size two Bamboozles (soon to be sold off and replaced with Bambeasy)
3 BTP Bambeasy for nights

4 xs airflow
4 s airflow
4 m airflow
4 l airflow
4 xl airlfow

See, very very boring...

PinkTulips · 30/09/2008 16:04

prefolds;
24 small with 6 covers
18 medium with 12 covers in 2 sizes
12 large with 6 covers

fitted;
2 MEOS
7 popolini OS
2 bumbles
1 babeco bamboo
2 bamboozles
3 disana tie ons
6 harmony (easy peasy hemp)
1 dizzy diaper microfibre

covers;
3 motherease airflow
2 popolini wool pants (1 small, 1 medium)
1 popolini wool wrap (large)
1 wooly wraps shorts (chilli pepper)
2 wooly wraps covers (raspberry ripple and a red and orange)
2 wool pants i made myself from jumpers

AIOS;
1 wee notions
1 econappi

for the new baby;
10 sandys'
2 kissaluvs
2 bambeasy
1 ellas house hemp
1 swaddlebees hemp velour

and i still need covers and wool wraps for the new baby!

in my defence alot of them were secondhand bought because ds grew out of MEOS and popolini OS at 6 months and only thinned down enough to fit in them recently, and i couldn't use dd's bambino mios on him as they don't seem to work for chunky babies!

so we were working on only about 8 nappies for him for ages which is why i need new ones for the baby as all his are worn to pieces

at least i'm not as bad as BBM (pink pretends not to know BBM demonstrates and sells the damn things)

BigBadMousey · 30/09/2008 16:08

That's kind of what I used to do - hence why I have so many.

DS uses the Sandy's and Fuzzis, DD2 uses the Ellas House the rest are surplus and only really used for when I used to be an advisor.

DeJaVous · 30/09/2008 16:13

But seriously, could you not start a nappy library?

rempy · 30/09/2008 16:14

I feel soooo good, frugal and virtuous when I see that list!!

I have 20 tots bamboozles size 1, (still not enough) with 4 tots wraps, 2 fleece wraps and 3 reiki wraps.

Then 14 bumgenius size 2, 1 medium fuzzibunz.

To be sold: 2 bambineo mio fluffle type things, one tots bamboozle size 2 and 3 more reiki wraps.

I had 15 bumgenius but think in my pregnancy fug this time round I put one in a nappy bin when out in town.... boo hoo.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 30/09/2008 16:18

Wow BigBadMousey I am not worthy

24 x small bambino mio
24 x large bambino mio
4 x babeco terry squares
6 x bright bots terry squares
2 x little ewe terry squares
4 x geobel size 2 shaped
3 x little kiwi quick flips
3 x baby beehinds bamboo
2 x baby beehinds hemp
3 x kushies ultra
2 x slinki-minki pocket
1 x standard minki pocket

6 x thirsties wraps
3 x airflows (plus 2 in the post)
1 x wacky wrap
6 x nature babies
2 x kushies
(about 16 bambino mio too, never use in fact some are brand new )

It looks alot when you write it all down doesn't it?

Maybe I can't justify getting any bumhuggers

BigBadMousey · 30/09/2008 16:20

DeJaVous - yes I could, that is what I used to do really and that is why I have just a few of lots of different types.

I've used them all to get a decent idea of what they are like but sold on all but a few unless I wanted to use them for longer. Used to have loads of pockets etc but when they no longer suited I sold most of them - just keeping a few for reference..

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 30/09/2008 16:21

Oh missed out 1 x babybeehinds wool wrap
1 x tots bots red wrap
countless homemade wool wraps
ditto boosters and inserts.

DeJaVous · 30/09/2008 16:24

'tis wise Mousey. I would love to get my hands on your stash.

In fact I've only been so harsh with mine because I'm all too aware of my addictive tendencies

BigBadMousey · 30/09/2008 16:27

hey wildthing! Homemade wool wraps? I am not worthy

PinkTulips · 30/09/2008 16:28

oh yeah, i need to add 3 little ewes terry squares to that

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 30/09/2008 16:35

Why thank you BigBadMousey, my dp thinks I am a crazy lady, but I love them, (and making them too, hence why so many), did think about trying to sell them but I'm not sure there is a market.

BigBadMousey · 30/09/2008 16:40

There is! Depends on how much they cost to make and time etc. My bf made a bit making trews for cloth nappies and wraps - she had a waiting list!

georgimama · 30/09/2008 16:41

30 traditional terries, and had 4 covers of each size (shared with DSIL whose DS is 7 months older).

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 30/09/2008 16:57

Do you think so?

I would have to charge £12-£15ish for it to be worthwhile.

It's just you can get a baby beehinds for not much more than a tenner and I think even stacinator are a bit less, Though imo mine are funkier, little shorties or longies.

(They are felted wook btw, not knitted)

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 30/09/2008 16:58

They are of course made from wool not wook. D'oh.

BigBadMousey · 30/09/2008 17:06

Wook sounds good! Wookie wool would be even better!

Most wahm ones I've seen retail for about that - if they are funky they would sell I reckon. Wool is not so popular over here as in the US - over there they have funky shorties and longies - bit of a gap over here in comparison.

Why not make a couple and see if they sell? IME newborn size don't sell well - I put a load of links to funky wool wrap sellers on the general nappy chat thread about 2-3 weeks ago - might be worth comparing?

BigBadMousey · 30/09/2008 17:09

this thread currently links are on page 8 BUT bear in mind I have most recent on page 1 - think most have it the other way round

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 30/09/2008 17:11

Thanks alot, will have a wook.

BabiesEverywhere · 30/09/2008 17:28

I didn't think I had many nappies until I started to think,

10 shaped bamboo size 1 nappies with 4 wraps (don't use as DS reacts badly to them need to sell)

21 Bumgenius Version 1(or2) One Size pocket nappies (ruined as DH used softner on them, they leak too badly too use, hope to sort them out and reuse)

20 Bumgenius Version 3 One Size poxket nappies Currently used by DS

10 terries squares (used as sick cloths and bibs mainly)

Ceolas · 30/09/2008 18:34

Wow!

You realise I just did this to justify buying more nappies?!

Will post my rather paltry list later...
