Why is it on mumsnet?

That if you wish to feed your children healthy food,
not smoke when you are pg,
look after them and make sure they are safe
I could go on and on..............
you are ridiculed for basically being a responsible parent?
I do hope that the views on mumsnet do not reflect society as a whole, what a scary thought.
I have changed my name as I know that if I said who I was as usual I would be shot down in flames.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ocado, Custy, Ocado.

emily05 · 28/06/2005 14:06

Blu - what is Ocado?

CountessDracula · 28/06/2005 14:09

Ocado = Waitrose delivery

The ONLY way to shop

They should ban name changes on this site

flamesparrow · 28/06/2005 14:13

DEFINATELY not the Mail... I remember that from the whole comic relief funds going to travellers/what paper do you read extravaganza!

Angeliz · 28/06/2005 14:19

PMSL at this thread!!

Custardo, top post

WigWamBam · 28/06/2005 14:21

And most of the Saturday night bar threads are full of people on meths or intravenous vodka.

Or is that just my bars?

flamesparrow · 28/06/2005 14:26

All this talk of wine has got me wanting a glass!!! Is 2.30 too early to start???

very good post

snafu · 28/06/2005 14:38

rofl custy, except for shopping at Tesco. Surely all decent Mumsnetters know Tesco is the fat-cat, organic-farmer-abusing, non-herb-garden-growing, plasma-telly-selling retail scum of the earth?

you know what dino, if you want to come here and ask advice about sacking your cleaner, that's perfectly ok.

bundle · 28/06/2005 14:39

my cleaner left the effing back door wide open when she left yesterday, despite me explaining in detail that it must be shut (left it open because it was so hot)..so..should I sack her?

snafu · 28/06/2005 14:40

Surely that's [chin-stroking, birkenstock-wearing frown] dino?

Just seen this - where is the 'leaving the baby in a cot' thread that sparked this off then?

handlemecarefully · 28/06/2005 14:47

Dinosaur, well if she is abiding by that rule she won't notice your little transgression

Caligula · 28/06/2005 14:50

OMG just ordered a Tesco delivery online, having compared organic box schemes and Ocado, and gone in the end for cheapest.

Felt so norty doing it, supporting fat cat multinational etc., when I should be having an organic box scheme or a nice ethical retailer like Ocado, or get off my arse and go shopping to all my local shops.
