have to take DS1 to his induction afternoon (2nd one - hoping he doesn't throw up like he did last week LOL) at his new school.........thing is DS2 has his sleep at 1pm-3pm - and the induction afternoon starts at 1.30

So I'm going to put DS2 down for his sleep as usual, at 1.30 on the dot grab the monitor, lock the front door and whizz round to the school to drop DS1 off - then whizz back again

notatroll, I meant, you put your washing out when they are in bed?

Lizzylou · 28/06/2005 16:02

Sorry, got all confused there, thought you were NAT for a sec...sorry!

Dahlia · 28/06/2005 16:02

Oh and BTW - he had a fabulous time (didn't throw up this time) and when he came out first thing he said was

"can I have a school uniform - so I'm like all the big children"

mmh... no she only puts washing out if her kids are asleep!

dunno what she'll do if they don't have an afternoon nap.
run out of clean pants i guess!

Lizzylou · 28/06/2005 16:03

The posts got crossed!!

Lizzylou · 28/06/2005 16:04

So, you put the washing out when the children are asleep...outside?? I do hope you use a monitor!!??

madmarchhare · 28/06/2005 16:05

Thats what I mean, puts the washing out when kids are in bed having their nap. EXACTLY the same as QOQ (given where school is and she had monitor)

Dahlia · 28/06/2005 16:05

I go out for a cigarette in the garden when dd2 is asleep, so I guess that is pretty horrendous.
(Don't tell me that has already been discussed too...)

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 16:06

doubly shocking Dahlia

a) that you leave your child asleep in the house

b) that you smoke

OP posts:
starlover · 28/06/2005 16:07

oh yes MMH... ha..

madmarchhare · 28/06/2005 16:07

Must go now, have been talking crap for far too long today.

Dahlia · 28/06/2005 16:08

I have also been known to swear in front of her.
May God Strike Me Down.
Her first sentence will be "oh, for f*cks sake"...

madmarchhare · 28/06/2005 16:08

Ooops X posts, Do you see SL?

NotAtroll2005 · 28/06/2005 16:09

my friend has just admitted that her boyfriend (not her dd's dad) does drugs (cocaine, LSD and speed I do believe) and that her and her dd, Daisy, almost 2, have been there many a time when he and his mates were preparing and taking the drugs. Is she a bad mother or did she do it for love?

starlover · 28/06/2005 16:09

yep. see where you're ocmming from now

naughty notatroll... she leaves her child asleep and goes OUT OF THE HOUSE!

awful, awful mother. now where is the number for social services

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 16:10

Hmm - that's interesting - the NJ "member" who started the thread on MN appears to have joined NJ the day that thread all about me was started, and started the thread just 4 minutes after joining! and 11 of her 14 posts are on that thread.........

Do you think someone 'deliberately' joined MN to get them all going

OP posts:
madmarchhare · 28/06/2005 16:10

go away

Dahlia · 28/06/2005 16:10

For love, definitely. There's nothing wrong with a bit of smack.

starlover · 28/06/2005 16:10

as long as the drugs are shared equally, then there's nothing wrong with that!
i find heroin helps my ds sleep better

madmarchhare · 28/06/2005 16:11

Aaagghh, to many posts, too many posts. Am going to hang washing out. DS still in bed so it'll be OK.

starlover · 28/06/2005 16:12

yes.. hello... i want to report a crazed hare. she's left her kids inside while she hangs her washing out. please can you arrest her and take the kids into care?

Dahlia · 28/06/2005 16:13

Yeah, got to go and prepare tea. DD2 is having chips, burgers, and marsbars - anything that I can bung in the deep fat fryer really. Its a bit gloopy in there but it all tastes fine if you smother it in salt.

madmarchhare · 28/06/2005 16:13

mishmash · 28/06/2005 16:14

Wow first Uwila makes it to the NJ board and now QOQ.

Is this a them and us board?

QOQ - can't see what some people are make a fuss over. I have popped to a neighbour when I needed something and yes when DD was asleep - not that I was gone anymore than a couple of mins.

Was it here or somewhere else that there was a thread about leaving a baby in a hotel room whilst the parents went to the bar - taking a monitor with them. I think that is worse than dropping a kid next door to school.
