have to take DS1 to his induction afternoon (2nd one - hoping he doesn't throw up like he did last week LOL) at his new school.........thing is DS2 has his sleep at 1pm-3pm - and the induction afternoon starts at 1.30

So I'm going to put DS2 down for his sleep as usual, at 1.30 on the dot grab the monitor, lock the front door and whizz round to the school to drop DS1 off - then whizz back again

Soupy - yes it is - but it's OK I'm still here

It's not there yet though is it? It's simply heading that way...

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 13:07

oh well - I should be back before it hits......and it looks pretty big so it'll probably get the school too

...and is that a lorry I see on the horizon? With a drunken driver who is about to fall asleep making the lorry career into the front of your house, completely demolishing it?

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 13:11

lorry's? down this street? At this time of the day?? Nah - won't happen too many cars parked on the road- the rubbish lorry has enough difficulty coming up here.... - and DS's room is at the back

Did I just hear a wolf's howl in the background?

Easy · 28/06/2005 13:18

is his window open?

I hear there are baby-snatching eagles in your area

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 13:21

no window's closed -

but wait - what bird is that sat on my roof .....................

oh it's ok only a pigeon (sp)

and no - it's not a wolf that's the kids in the play ground

Window open? Think of all that fresh air? Better off asleep in garden!

Easy · 28/06/2005 13:24

Window closed, on a hot day like this? My god woman, you'll cook the poor child.

Return from your journey to find him done to a crisp.

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 13:25

no - it gets pretty noisy in the afternoon with the kids in the reception class effectively at the 'bottom' of the garden - although the kids can't been 'seen' from his cot (or even from his room because of the height of the wal) lif I leave the window open he stands trying to see what's going on

I can't agree with that Mumfor1sttime - some small planes occasionally have to discharge the tanks from their toilets - a man in Nottingham was badly hurt when a lump of frozen urine hit him on the heasd a few years ago - think what could happen unless QoQ's Ds2 wears a full crash helmet

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 13:26

not too hot here today (thank goodness) sunny warm, but a nice breeze - our house stays nice and cool so I often keep the windows closed on hot days or the hot air just comes in

OP posts:
Blu · 28/06/2005 13:26

QoQ - he'll be climbing out in no time - don't say I didn't warn you......

jessicasmummy · 28/06/2005 13:27

time to go surely?!

Easy · 28/06/2005 13:27

Oh that's it then, you'll get home to find him head first on the patio

Blu · 28/06/2005 13:28

Has she gone? Stop watches at the ready....

Easy · 28/06/2005 13:28

Oh no,

" Mother killed by a piece of p*ss"

jessicasmummy · 28/06/2005 13:29

i'd say shes gone

Easy · 28/06/2005 13:31

Do you think she'll do the supermarket run while sahe's out ???

jessicasmummy · 28/06/2005 13:31

well its been 5 minutes since last post....

QueenOfQuotes · 28/06/2005 13:31

about to go downstairs now (need to allow unfit me 15 seconds to get from my frontdoor - inside the house) to the computer - and vice versa

OP posts:
jessicasmummy · 28/06/2005 13:32

right.... lets go....

Blu · 28/06/2005 13:32

It's Ds2 on his way downstairs to make his first post on MN!!!

Easy · 28/06/2005 13:33
