I'm just wondering, how many pushchairs/prams does the average parent own?

Vintage Silver Cross for newborn.
Nipper 360 Double atp for newborn and toddler.
Micralite Fstfold for toddler on buses.
Jane Powertwin tandem double, though I hate it.
Land Rover atp for off-roading.
I still need to buy a Buzz Wagtail, cos' I like the colours...
Some cheap, lightweight umbrella folding stroller to fit in nan's car.
Er,....

Oh and two slings

I currently have 2 but have had about 40....give or take about 10! I just liked to try new ones out & always sold to buy, often bought to sell on for profit too & have made some good money from doing so.

I've calmed down now though & settled with my Baby Jogger City Elite & Luna Mix

Oooh, this thread is almost convincing me to go along with DP's desire to buy a new buggy for DC2 (his PFB!)
I currently just have a Mclaren Techno XT which did DD from birth & she still occasionally uses now (age 3) when I'm too tired to risk taking her on long walks. Planning to use it for DC2 (currently 28 weeks pg) as is still in good condition, suited me etc, DP wanted a new one, until I showed him the cost of some of them at least!!

sweetkitty · 04/10/2009 09:23

Currently have a Luna Mix and a Maclaren XT

Have had about 10 including 3 doubles
am pregnant again so next purchase will be a P&T.

NeedCoffee · 04/10/2009 09:24

hauck shopper and a baby dan umbrella buggy, a chicco one at my dads, a umbrella buggy at my freinds and an umbrella one at my Mums, to be fair the only brand new one I've ever had is the Hauck Shopper, all the others have been given to me of off freecycle. I have fallen in love with the britax vigour but noone seems to want to sell me one

NeedCoffee · 04/10/2009 09:25

hmm.

I have 3. A mountain buggy urban double when DD and DS need schelping.

A JEEP jogger stroller bought in US and is fab and is used to get DS about mostly whilst DD is in school.

In the back of my car, an old Peg P. Centro bought off ebay for 8 quid so when I'm out in my car I always have an emergency pushchair.

suiledonn · 04/10/2009 09:40

I have

a Graco Mosaic Travel System I bought when pregnant with dd1. Hated it. Wish I had know more when I bought it.

a Chicco Xplorer stroller I bought when dd1 got a bit older. Loved it when she got bigger but wasn't suitable at the time so bought

a Maclaren Quest which we loved and used loads

a Silver Cross Sleepover Delux we used for dd2 to sleep in as a newborn. Never got on with the pushchair mode so it is in the attic

a Mamas and Papas 03 Sport for walking on our country roads

VirginiaLoveGlove · 04/10/2009 09:43

2
mclaren techno - pushchair
babydan stockholm - from birth pushchair
