Congratulations 4!

mumface · 08/09/2009 10:21

Got my first cloth san pro 2day from weenotions.Minky liners, they are lovely. Anybody know if is it ok to wash them at 40 with nappies or should I do it at 60 to stop the lurgies spreading?
Also got Monkey foot bag yesterday I got medium but wish I had large now with 2 in nappies. Maybe I will get more medium ones And use one bag per change then I can have lots of prints

Lol. I know I am bad for not going to bed. But I wasn't even tired yesterday. Have just got kids asleep which is not a good idea as its too early for Elouise really but oh well. Having a cup of tea with sugar and a cake to try and give me a bit more energy! Then going to try and jump in the bath before Talia wakes up! Got to go post office which I am not looking forward to but better get used to it before the shop opens!

Both girls wearing the new nappy and will wait and see for results!

Hi everyone

I haven't heard anything from the competition, i'll wait until the end of the day and then pm her

I need some minkee liners from WN

I wonder if i should try and sell my ipod? I have an iphone now and that would be £50 or so towards my pp account

DD2 is loving big school although she is really tired and grumpy when i bring her home at luchtime the teacher asked me to take her in a drinks bottle as she is so tiny she can't reach the water fountain like the other children

I have so much washing to sort out tonight and emptying the girls wardrobes ready to restock in autumn clothes, it's going to take hours

What is everybodys thoughts on bamboo lined pocket nappies?

OP posts:
Bicnod · 08/09/2009 18:13

sorry to barge in your thread but was hoping someone could help me.

i think in my sleep-deprived-brain-befuddled state i put fabric conditioner in the washing machine with my DS's bumgenius nappies and liners

have i ruined them forever or will they be ok?

thanks - and sorry again for barging in...

JennyPenny22 · 08/09/2009 18:16

Elouise has just managed to hurt her bum in t he garden - has cuts all over it! So have used a sposie so I can cover her in cream!

OP posts:
swampster · 08/09/2009 18:20

Bicnod, I am not an expert on conditioner-coated BGs but it sounds like you might have a good few strip washes to do.

JennyPenny22 · 08/09/2009 18:20

bicnod - they will be fine! Just give them a good wash or 2 with no washing powder. It just clogs the fabrics a bit. Worse case senario would be to need to give them quite a few washes to make sure they are all out. Maybe use washing powder for one and then a few without? DOn't panic though!

Yes - wash them thru a few times.

Aren't easyfits bamboo pockets?? Sounds interesting though - would like to see one.

ds3 has a coolababy on with washed fuzzi inserts as couldn't wait - very slim/nice fit.

JennyPenny22 · 08/09/2009 18:40

Ohhh I dunno. Just asking

dippymummyto2boys · 08/09/2009 18:43

Congrats 4!

bicnod - I have put fabric conditioner, just do a few extra rinses.

mumface - when my csp arrived from puddlekins I am planning to just wash at 40 with nappies, surely that is no worse then poop?

mumface - I wash my csp with my nappies at 40, but I rinse them in cold water first as they do soak up quite a scary amount of blood and I noticed that if I didn't rinse, some of my white nappies came out a bit off-white! Yeuchh! I was basically dying my nappies in menstrual blood, what a horrible thought...

Bicnod · 08/09/2009 19:02

thanks so much for all your responses - will stick them in the washing machine with no powder now and an extra rinse cycle. So much for being environmentally friendly!!

Thanks again - will stop panicking

Babybots · 08/09/2009 19:29

Octo,

Glad you like the Coolababy, The pop and Gro is in the wash as i type!

Yes the Totsbots easyfit bamboo is bamboo lined i'd us a fleece liner though as there will be no stay dry layer, would there?

Octothechildherder · 08/09/2009 20:06

myjob - the problem is we never make any money as we buy so many to use ourselves!!!
