What do you call your breasts in front of your DC's???

My DS is 20 months and has started to realise that I have boobs! He has taken to pulling back the covers and poking my nipple and giggling when he has a play in our bed in the morning, and he also sometimes squashes my boobs and thinks it's funny. I just say 'that's mummies boobies' then distract him and he then plays with his toys etc. I'm not sure what I should call them though? I am due DS2 in a month and will hopefully breastfeed again so I'm wondering what others call their breasts / boobs cos I think saying 'don't play with mummies boobies' in public might sound a bit dodgy!

Any other advice on what I should do? ie should I tell him 'no' whenever he pokes them or just distract him? I don't want him thinking any part of a body is wrong in some way though especially as he is too young to really understand yet.

DSs 1+2 were 4 and 5 years old when DS3 came along and are fully versed in the art of BFing ! They know that new babies needs mummy's milk from her boobies, so there, who says they do not listen to a word I say?!!
DS2 in particular was VERY fond of sitting on my lap with one hand down my top between my ample bosoms, particularly when tired. I miss that sometimes.... . So, yes, distraction is a good idea, becoming shameless worked for me, and the good old explanation that there are certain things you only do in private ie picking your nose, masturbating...

Boobies here. It was the first word I hit upon when my DS was referring to them as 'mama's bumbum' (which seems to be a catch all phrase for any wobbly bits )

Not sure it's what I'd have chosen if I'd thought more carefully so I shall be watching this thread with interest.

Noms sometimes, which is Thai for milk. It's a long story but makes sense in my family.

dd calls my bras 'boobs' too. As in 'are you going to wear these boobs today mummy?'

ds and dd both know about breast feeding and what they are for etc.

although DS calls his feed mi-mi, and so do DH and I.
"Are you ready for your breastfeed?" seems a bit odd

DD2 referred to mine as 'mummy's babies' for a while - confusion there between the baby in mummy's tummy and her boobies. So, boobies, boobs, breasts.

I just call it my chest.

My DS was 24m when DD was born. He used to say "BABIES EAT BOOBIES!" (I fed DD for a year so DS said it a lot!)

Ds (2) calls them boobis for some reason.. mummy has boobis, daddy has boobis, and most amusing of the lot.. Samson cat also has boobis.. 6 of them

Although it is worth noting that Samson cat does not like his boobis paoked by said child, as said child found out to his detrement this morning

Having had DD point at them a few weeks ago and call them 'bellybuttons', she now calls them booboos (I said they were boobs). Booboos is also how she pronounces 'bubbles'.

Sometimes still share a bath with DS (2.4) who now delights in poking at my chest and saying "Mee-mee (mummy) boop"

ilikeyoursleeves, doesn't it hurt you when he fiddles with them? (It would have done me when I was 8m pregnant.) In which case surely you can just tell him it hurts and not to do it. It's the same as if they hit someone - nothing to do with any part of the body being wrong or private.

I call them breasts. Ds2 used to say 'breast breast' when he wanted to feed, but then changed to 'mumuk' (a concatenation of 'more milk'). Ds1 did go through a phase of calling them 'boobies', copying a friend of his, which he thought was hilarious. He seems to have moved on to bottom jokes now.

I always refer to them as boobs, but DS calls them booboobs. I'm pg at the moment and he seems to be quite focussed on them, although he can't remember BF (finished at 9 months) and we haven't talked about me BF the new baby when it arrives... maybe they've grown more than I thought
