i need to do 1000 words to reach my target for today then if i dont do it i will be embarrassed and will have to admit it.

I know it seems a bit of a paltry amount compared to some of u, but i so struggle with getting critical analysis into the damn essay.

(FECK got to go shopping at some point today- can see excessive use of cursing thread coming up!)

sbm- i have been dreadful for weeks cant get back into it at all- beginning to get a bit panicky! everytime i try to get down to it something crops up. i have to take my friend to see emergency gp this pm cos she has lost the plot- she keeps turning up at my house talking about the same things over and over, her anxiety levels are thru the roof- but she is beginning to send mine there as well!

Have got three, 3500 word assignments to hand in. One is already late (will lose 10% up to a week late), 2nd one id due 13th June and is 50% done, the 3rd one I haven't even touched.

Why am I sooooooo unorganised :-(

And I start my new placement tomorrow. Better dig out uniform and hope can still fit into said uniform!

Target for today. Get up to 500 words done on current assignment. Make packed lunch. Find all the the bumph to take to placement and iron uniform.

what year/branch are you nutty nurse? what essays are they?

I'm in my 3rd and final year, adult branch! Start my management placement tomorrow on an ENT, general surgical ward MILES away.

Oooh, nearly forgot. Essays are on Modern Matron : Fact or fiction? Dementia and the role of the adult nurse as an advocate and a learning contract on where we are skills wise now, and where we want to be 6 months post-reg and how we will achieve it.

yep 2nd year st/n mh branch. exams tomorrow. Public health/psychology/sociology seen paper (yikes..) and genetic basis for illhealth/physiology m/c (just done practice paper got 74%). Next placement for me in Sept.. 1st of 3rd year. We were told workload less in 3rd year.. is this true? (hope so)

I think I'm going to have to stay away from mumsnet so can get work done or at least use it as a reward say for hitting target than can post on mn.

• get 2 hours work done this afternoon on that bl**dy paper
• do some prep for my viva
• stop stressing and just DO something!!!

I'm going to revise like theres no tomorrow and have regular 15 min breaks

have two assignments due in 15th aug

degree finish 19th august,

so today i will aim for a thousand word critical reflection.

Started on 4000 nursing practice essay today.. due in on monday and it is my birthday this week!. Just got exam results i was stressing about on here! passed both no idea of grades tho - need to email tutor to find out! xx
