My DP is Welsh, but only knows a handful of phrases... but I know that there are a couple he would to know.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me how to say (and write)

"I love you"
"Good Girl"
"Well Done"

Thankyou oodles. Thankyou and disgusting are about the extent of my knowledge!!! Ooh, and "big pit"... the joys of road signs...

Hi, can I quickly hijack to ask a question? . It's on behalf of my sister really. She has just bought a lovely Welsh Cob who has his registered name on his papers but we don't know how to pronounce it! We only heard his previous owner call him by his 'pet' name. The first word is Bryncefn (think I've spelt it right) but is the 'c' a 'k' sound or a 's' sound? Can anyone help?

Thanks very much SmileSmileSmile

Rhian101 · 12/05/2006 13:08

Bryncefn is pronounced brin (as in bring without the g) kevn (like Kevin without the i). Is that ok?

Pixel · 14/05/2006 18:29

That's brilliant, thanks very much! SmileSmile
