Reading though the conversations on Mumsnet, you occasionally come across an amazing feat of motherhood. I thought it might be interesting to collect all these stories together into a 'Mumsnet Book Thread of Records'!!!

Was your baby very tiny, or very large (mine was 10lb 4oz, but there are loads of bigger wrigglers out there!)?
Was your newborn 3 feet tall?
Was your baby born at 24 weeks?
Did you give birth in your early teens, or at 50+?
Were your babies born 9 months apart, or did you leave a 20 year gap?
Do you have quintuplets? sextuplets?
Have you given birth 37 times? etc..etc...

Come on, lets hear your stories about all the amazing mums and babies out there!

meggle - I can rival you for teeniest toddler. Dd2 was 7lb 13oz when born, and like your baby, just hasn't grown much since! She is now 18 months, and at last weigh in was 16lb, and iirc at 15 months she was just 14lb...

I feed mine too, honest

I can do a big weight difference at birth - ds was 2lb 15oz and dd was 10lb 5oz
ds is nearly 7 and weighs less than his 4 yr old sister

I have had ten babies, not cos I am good at parenting but cos I am crap with contraception
My norks keep my feet warm.
My belly looks like the map of the London underground.

I absolutely definitely had the worst pregnancy constipation - I remember screaming and being stuck on the loo for absolutely ages, trying all sorts of tactics with it several times. No idea what the neighbours must have thought. Horrid.

Have 3 DCs, first was a heffalump but the youngest two weighed the same (6lb 13oz).

I often wonder what's the most DCs a mum has had who had the same weight.

i've been either preg or bf-ing for 4 years and 4 months continuously and will be doing another 2 years at least before i'm done.

i've also gotton pregnant whilst breastfeeding twice (once with no AF)

my dd weighed the same at 22 months as she did at 10 months

my ds weighed the same at 6 months than she did at 2 years

both my babies came out with their arms across their faces

don't think i win any awards... just wanted to share

my DT's were 2lb 8 and 2lb 4, defo not the smallest I have read on MN, but the smallest on this thread so far i think!

Am pregs again and caught on EXACTLY the same day as I did with the DT's 4 years ago, I am due on exactly the same day - this time it's defo only one, and thus hoping I will be up for nomination as regards the biggest extremes - this one will go to 42 gest and weigh 12lb or summut, knowing my luck!

I had my first DC when I was 46yr & 6mnth.

I'm sure there are some on here who have had children when older than this but maybe not their first.

I would love to know if anyone has!
