4.6 and 23m

go to bed between 6.30 and 7pm

tassisssss · 14/07/2008 20:02

5 and 22 months.

Bed at 7pm. Long may it continue.

dd2 is almost 6 weeks and yet to be convinced that a 7pm bedtime is a good thing, but given that she sleeps a good deal of the day, i can cope with her awake in the evening!

ds (21 months) is around 7.15/7.30pm
dd (4.8years) is around 7.40pm

Nearly 6 (age that is), goes to bed at 19:30. Routine starts at 18:00.

janeite · 14/07/2008 20:07

13 and 11 - 9 on school days; around 9.30 at weekends (maybe later if we're been out or are in the middle of a game or something).

meep · 14/07/2008 20:08

dd (1yo) 7pm

NormaStanleyFletcher · 14/07/2008 20:09

DS2 (8) and DD (2) go between 7.30 and 8

Egg · 14/07/2008 20:13

DS1 (2.5) - 7-7:30pm (aim for 7 but impossible if DTs are playing up)
DTs (6 months) 7pm latest

eandh · 14/07/2008 20:18

dd1 - (almost 4) 6.30pm
dd2 - (18months) 6pm

BasementBear · 14/07/2008 20:40

Aim for 7.30, usually 7.45. DCs 4.5 and 6.5 share a room usually chat amongst themselves for a bit. Let them go a bit later at weekends or holidays

Mamatastic · 14/07/2008 21:45

DS 8.5 months, bath 6pm, usually in bed by 630pm ish

Jojay · 14/07/2008 21:49

Washersaurus · 14/07/2008 22:09

DS' (3yo and 1yo) start bedtime proceedings at around 6.45pm and are usually in bed by 7.30/8pm - I honestly don't know where the time goes every evening...

Alambil · 15/07/2008 00:59

5.5 yrs bed between 6-7pm

slim22 · 15/07/2008 04:56

mine (4) goes 8pm-7:30am schooldays / 8:30pm-8am weekends

Out of curiosity what time do your DCs wake up if they go down 6 or 7pm?

hellish · 15/07/2008 05:13

This thread has made me very envious.
my dds 8 and almost 6 are currently sleeping from 9.30 / 10.00 until 8.30am /9.00am.

It's very frustrating , even if we get them upstairs at 7 (very rare), it still takes them that long to be asleep.

egypt · 15/07/2008 05:23

dont worry hellish. my dd is just 4 and although i can get her upstairs for 730 she's rarely asleep before 9. pants isnt it. dd2 who is 1 sleeps from 6pm if she hasnt napped. if she has rarely asleep before 8. grr

hellish · 15/07/2008 05:27

It's crazy - they are in such holiday mode- school finished 3 weeks ago and any trace of routine has gone out the window.

sakurarose39 · 15/07/2008 05:33

Mine are 9 and 10. They are in bed by 9:30 and asleep by 10. They get up at about 7am.

Gateau · 15/07/2008 08:29

Our DS is 15 months and isn't usually in bed until 8.30. And then it can takes ages for him to get to sleep!
He simply doesn;t seem ready for bed at 7-7.30. And on the days he goes to nursery, I would only see him for 1.5 hours if he was to go to bed at 7. So it suits then.
So it works for us - but I do sometimes wish he went to bed earlier!!
Anyone experienced similiar? I do feel a bit of an odd one out/crappy mother lacking solid routine...

Acinonyx · 15/07/2008 08:33

Dd is 3 and bedtime is 8 pm, up about 7 am. Quite a few of our friends also have an 8 pm bedtime too. I can't imagine trying to get dd to bed at 7 or earlier!
