How close in age are your children

If you have more than one child, how close in age are they? Me and DH have been talking about trying for another in the future, we have a 6 month old. We're not trying at the moment yet we haven't been that careful either as if it happens it happens, we struggled to conceive our LO so another child would be so lovely whatever the age gap

5 years. They got on well at first but now spend most of their time arguing. I think that would happen with any age gap though.

Everyone I know with a 3 year or closer gap has a lot of family support on hand op, lots of relatives to babysit etc. What's your set up? We've got zero family nearby which is why it couldn't have been any closer than 3.5 years for us personally.

We had three under three with zero family support. It was fine, I quit my job to look after them though and I know that not everyone has that option.

3y10m. Wanted a smaller gap but fertility issues and tfmr meant a bigger gap than we'd have liked. Luckily dc2 seems to be a bit ahead (and physically bigger) than average, and dc1 is a little immature, so they can still enjoy a lot of the same things, and they look closer in age than they are. I liked stretching out the baby/toddler years though as I enjoy all the under 5s type activities and liked doing one to one stuff with dc2 when dc1 was in nursery/school.

Two and a half years.

The absolute minimum age gap I wanted it to be. Expected TTC to take longer as I have fertility issues, but baby rabies and a small miracle happened instead. We're done at two, but if I were to have another, I would absolutely aim for 3 years old at a minimum.
