I have to recommend this backpack!

I bought this backpack for all the things we need to take out with our toddler and I'm chuffed to bits with it so I had to share in case someone is looking for similar!

It comes in 30 or 20 litres and the 20 does us fine. My son is two and it can fit everything we need in it for a day out:

Nappies
Nappy sacks
Packet of wipes
Change of clothes
Mini sudocreme
Hand sanitiser
Emergency sticker book!
A toy
Waterproof trousers
Reins

It has two water bottles and a pocket at the bottom with a waterproof groundsheet in it. I'm going to swap it out for a bigger one we have. This would also be a fab pouch for a little change mat for younger babies.

And best of all! It has an integrated cooler compartment! I am beyond excited about that. No separate lunchbox, all the lunch, snacks and an ice pack go in the bottom compartment and if you don't need it it zips away to make more space in the rucksack.

I looove a good organised rucksack 🙌🏻

Thanks. Is it different in the app? I don't see a way to do that

No idea, I only use the mobile site.

@Pringlesfordinner would it be suitable for a school bag for secondary eg big enough for books etc? I’m looking for a decent school bag for my son? Thanks

Sturnidae · 02/04/2024 11:42

Ha I have that one too, and after I found it and decided to buy it I discovered that a friend already had it and another was planning to buy it 🤣

Remembering what my days at secondary were like, lugging so many books, I'd go for the 30 litre.

It has a laptop compartment (I've put nappies in it 😂) and a phone pocket on one strap

Thanks. I checked with my friend who is charge of D of E at school - and he says it is brilliant and the 30 L is also perfect as a day sack for D of E. So I’ve brought two - one for each of mine and delivery to local Asda! They were £17 each the 30 L so thanks for the recommendation that’s uni and a few years at secondary school covered. Almost tempted to have got one for myself!!

Fab! They are such good value. My own rucksack was nearly £100 and I think this one is just as good. Plus it's got that cooler compartment. Love it!

Oh be careful you're ordering the right one. If you want the one with the integrated lunch cooler, those are £39.99

I brought the £17 ones as school bags and d of e day sack. We have little cooler pouches that go on the top for day lunches and sack so the £17 litre for 30 litres is good for us. Plus they don’t have pack lunches at school.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 02/04/2024 17:01

It's not my type of bag and I don't need it but I'll recommend it to SIL because she might like it when her now 5 month old gets older.

blackcherryconserve · 02/04/2024 18:50

It's out of stock OP!

Pringlesfordinner · 02/04/2024 20:04

The link for the 30 litre shows as in stock for me. I got the 20 litre in a really nice plummy/burgundy colour.

Apologies... incoming massive link again

That 20l one looks ideal for the back of my wheelchair, thank you!

ClemFandango1 · 02/04/2024 22:20

I also got a proper backpack for toddler shite because I was sick of lugging the change bag. Works really well and is comfortable.

peloton2024 · 02/04/2024 22:37

Oh that looks good - I go swimming outdoors in summer and having the groundsheet instead of taking a mini bath mat will be easier!

The reviews aren't great though.
